I’ve spent a good chunk of my Sunday reading Seven Days in June by Tia Williams. Leslie and I have been planning to read this together for ages and we finally decided to dive in yesterday! Ngl, I’m a little obsessed. It’s so raw and emotional and it has my feelings all tangled in a knot and sitting heavy in my chest and OOF, I love it! 🥹

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed starting Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen. I’m buddy reading this with Leslie and I’m so excited to dive in cos I’ve also heard some pretty good things about it. Plus, look at this gorgeous cover! 😍

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night reading a historical romance that I recently added to my TBR: A Governess Should Never Tempt A Prizefighter by Emily Windsor. I’ve read two of Windsor’s books before and always enjoy her writing, characters and romance! This’ll be a nice break from the fantasy I’ve been reading lately.

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night reading The Jasmine Throne. I’ve been looking forward to reading this for a while now because I’ve heard so many amazing things about it. I’m reading this with Jess and we’re both not far into it yet but I’m very intrigued so far and I can’t wait to read more!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed with The Inadequate Heir by Danielle L. Jensen. It’s the third book in The Bridge Kingdom series but it’s about a new couple and I’ve been excited to read about them ever since they were introduced in the second book. I’m buddy reading this with Leslie and Julie and I can’t wait to chat to them about it!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed with Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. This is my first full-length novel by Oseman and I’ve been looking forward to reading it ever since hearing all the great reviews for it. I’m 23% in and I’m enjoying it so far but I’m not fully connecting with the MC. I’m buddy reading this with Leslie but I’m very behind! 😬

It’s been a long day so I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed with my ARC for The Devil You Know by Elizabeth O’Roark. Listen, the angsty but incendiary chemistry between Ben and Gemma is SENDING ME. I can’t believe I’m loving this angsty “I-say-I-hate-you-but-I-don’t-really” energy in romance right now but it’s got me melting. 🥵

I’ll be spending part of my Sunday night in bed reading my ARC of Defiant Heart by Brighton Walsh. This is a small-town grumpy/sunshine enemies-to-lovers romance between the town’s sheriff and a yogi activist who can’t stop getting arrested. I’m about 30% through now and I’m loving the chemistry!
