We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed with Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. This is my first full-length novel by Oseman and I’ve been looking forward to reading it ever since hearing all the great reviews for it. I’m 23% in and I’m enjoying it so far but I’m not fully connecting with the MC. I’m buddy reading this with Leslie but I’m very behind! 😬
What are you currently reading?

It’s been another busy week at my friend’s studio and I feel like constantly being surrounded all the time got a little overwhelming this week. I’ve gotten so used to being by myself and getting my alone time in and having almost zero of that time for myself now got a little much and I felt more than a little tired. I also felt a little homesick at one point but my friend got me lots of comfort food to make me feel better, which was really sweet. 🥰 We also did a fun photoshoot for her business’ website revamp and now I’ll be in one of the main header images of her website (lol). I honestly can’t believe how quickly time is flying right now. It’s already the end of June and I’ve almost been here for one month now! What is time, even?

I’ve cut down on a lot of reading time because I have this weird thing where it feels rude of me to read and not watch TV when my friend is watching TV? Is that weird? Probably. So I’ve still mostly been reading in the post-midnight hours when she’s gone off to sleep or in the morning while she’s still sleeping. I miss reading so much but hopefully, I’ll be able to find a better balance soon!

blinding lights – the weeknd
I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and that you have a great week ahead! Take care of yourselves and of each other, friends 🖤

I hope you can find more of a balance. I think when you are living with someone that it’s okay to do your own thing. You don’t need to be with her and do all her hobbies, all the time. Ya know? It might feel weird but you are also spending your days with her & helping her business! Take some time for yourself so you don’t feel overwhelmed and tired. If you miss reading then do more reading, hun! 💜

I can’t believe you have been there for almost a month. Seems like you just did your post about packing! When I go to my daughter’s, she will watch TV and I will read. Both are individual activities, so I don’t feel bad.

It sounds like things are so exciting in your life rn!! It’s always hard to find a good reading balance when that happens but I have faith in you (:

I love The Weeknd! ❤️ I don’t think it’s rude to read a book while your friend is watching TV. It’s good to have some time for yourself, even if you’re in the same space. I hope you find a better balance soon.
Have fun, Dini!

I hear you about being overwhelmed by people. I spend so much time alone (besides my family) and it’s overwhelming when I get a lot of people time. I love the Weeknd and this video/song. That whole album, really.
