I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed starting Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen. I’m buddy reading this with Leslie and I’m so excited to dive in cos I’ve also heard some pretty good things about it. Plus, look at this gorgeous cover! 😍
What are you currently reading?
Woo, this week has seen me be completely MIA on the blog but also online in general. The third member of our trio came back from visiting her parents at the start of the week and flew off on Saturday so it was a really short but super sweet visit. These girls are my ‘ride or die’ besties and although we don’t always keep in constant contact, whenever we do connect it’s like no time at all has passed. We had lots of late nights talking, reminiscing about our wilder days at uni, talking about future plans, one of us starting a family, and of course, our next reunion that hopefully won’t take place 13 years down the line. This reunion was so, so good and my heart is absolutely full! 💜
To cap off a very hectic but fun-filled weekend, I got my first bookish tattoo today! It’s big—much bigger than I thought I’d go at first—but when the artist put the bigger stencil on me it was an instant click. I don’t have a picture of the finished ink yet and it’s covered up right now, but this one shows it about 15% done. I’m excited to share the finished one soon! 😃
I’ve been completely MIA this week and I’m sorry I haven’t blog hopped or responded to comments yet. I’ll be getting around to it tomorrow when I finally get back to a normal routine! 🙂

Funny, the first thing I said when I saw your current read was, “what a pretty cover”. Very striking. Hope it’s a good story too. Awww, I can feel the joy from you. I am so happy you had this time with your friends. That tattoo is amazing. I cannot wait to see the finished product

It is a very pretty cover and it’s also what caught my eye in the first place! I’m still early on in the book but I’m enjoying it a lot so far. And yes, I did have such a great time with my girls 💜 Nothing better! I hope you have an amazing week ahead, Sam!

Haha, girl I am so behind on the read but I’m so excited to start reading it properly today. I’ve been so busy catching up on blog hopping and responding to comments and all today but I’m hoping to get more time with it tonight. Omg, I’m starting to get to the really good part and then I had to go to the gym this morning and now I’m at my friend’s studio and I have to apply for jobs. I’m going to read until 50% this arvo and then hopefully I’ll be a bit more caught up with you. Sorry, Leslie! 😂 I am loving it though. I HAVE THOUGHTS!
