I’ve spent a good chunk of my Sunday reading Seven Days in June by Tia Williams. Leslie and I have been planning to read this together for ages and we finally decided to dive in yesterday! Ngl, I’m a little obsessed. It’s so raw and emotional and it has my feelings all tangled in a knot and sitting heavy in my chest and OOF, I love it! 🥹

What are you currently reading?

It was a bit tough getting back into the groove of things this week after taking several days off last week when our third musketeer was here but we survived the week! My friend decided to host a spontaneous and informal small business meetup at her studio on Saturday and it was actually really nice! It was a great beginning to a new small business network for support and collaboration that doesn’t really exist in Delhi, and it was great to talk about challenges, exchange ideas and spark inspiration. ✨

As much as its been a struggle to get back into the routine again after last week, its also been a struggle to get back into blog hopping and responding to comments. I just feel absolutely drained and I do feel a little guilty but as someone said to me on Twitter, life happens and it’s okay. So, hopefully, next week will see me being a little bit more active but I just want everyone who has still been engaging and commenting that I really appreciate you all so much! 💜

      • Oh, I know it! I’ve left for over a year and came back! It’s totally okay. I’m going to try REALLY hard not to do that this next time *if* we get pregnant! I hope you do too, Dini! ❤

    • Thanks, Jordyn! Sometimes it’s hard to get out of that guilty headspace but I appreciate you and this community so much for always being super supportive 💜 I hope you have a fab week too—and I can listen to the Hamilton soundtrack all day every day especially when I’m feeling squicky 😂

      • Oh I totally get it. I feel bad when I miss a day, too, but I realized this is just a hobby. No one’s paying me to do this, it’s just for fun. And if you’re worrying about it, it’s not that fun anymore…🤷🏻‍♀️ Enjoy the Hamilton soundtrack!

  6. There’s a few bloggers on here that actually take a month break from their blogs to recharge and then come back. I think it’s a great idea, no need to feel guilty at all! I haven’t blog hopped in awhile because my kids give me no peace lol…now that one went back to school, I have a little more time, the next one goes on Friday woo hoo! I love Hamilton – the tour is coming to Hawaii in December and I got tickets. So excited! Take care Dini!
