I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed with Royally Not Ready by Meghan Quinn. This is an ARC for next week and I got to 10% when I started reading this morning and already read a line that was FIRE. 🔥 Woo, MQ is bringing the heat again—and you know we’re here for it! 😉
What are you currently reading?
Another Sunday has come and gone and I ask you again—what is this thing we call time?! Yesterday marked the official 2-month mark since I’ve come to India but it also marks exactly 1-month until I leave in September. It’s definitely bittersweet because it’s been nice to be away from home but I also miss home a lot more than I initially thought I would!
We randomly decided to take our MBTI tests again last night as we were chilling in bed and it was interesting to see how my results have changed! If I remember correctly (and I’m just as likely to be wrong as I am right because of how bad my memory actually is, lol) I was an ISFJ when I took the test several years ago… Last night, I got ISFP-T, which is very different to what I expected. A lot of what it says is spot on but at the same time, I don’t quite think I’m that spontaneous adventurer? Have you ever taken the MBTI test? What’s your personality type? Do you think it’s accurate?
I finished one of my new favourite reads and one of my top reads of 2022 this week! I should’ve expected it after Leslie talked about how much she loved The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea but because I’ve been on a ‘mediocre’ reads track as of late, I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Thankfully, August has been looking pretty decent in terms of ratings so far so I’m feeling quite chuffed! I’ve done marginally (like, marginally) better with blog hopping and engaging this week so that’s a step in the right direction too. 🙂

I have done the MBTI multiple times, years apart, and I am unchanged. I think it’s good that you changed a bit. It shows growth, a positive thing.

The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea cover never gets old. 😍 I have taken the test and I am an INFP. I do think that it fits me well! I’m curious if I took it again what I would be. 😂

I’m INFP or INFT – I always forget that last letter. I’m pretty sure it’s a P. Myers’s Brigg fascinates me. Hope you have a great week and enjoy your last month in India.

I’m an ISFJ myself, and I think it’s fairly accurate. I’m so glad you finally got a great read! You deserved it. I’ve never read anything by Megan Quinn, but now it’s looking like I’m going to have to….

I haven’t taken it, but my middle child did. He’s the rare INFJ, but reading what it said, it totally fit his personality. Hope you enjoy your last month in India!
