I’ve spent part of my Sunday on a day bed reading A Venom Dark and Sweet by Judy I. Lin. This is the second book in The Book of Tea duology and I’m enjoying it so far! Also, can we talk about how freaking ✨gorgeous✨ this cover is? Hands down, this duology holds two of the top spots for absolutely stunning covers this year (for me anyway)!
What are you currently reading?
As I’m writing this right now, I’ve just come back from a full day out on the beach in Goa. We left in the morning to find a beach shack to chill at and spent a good chunk of the day lying down on a sun bed getting misted by passing monsoon rains and basking in the sun and the delightfully cooling sea breeze. Also, we ate so much good food and of course, topped off the afternoon with an ice cold frozen margarita (sadly, we drank our drinks too quickly before thinking of taking a picture—oops 😬)! I’ll be in Goa until next Sunday, when we’ll be flying back to Delhi for my last 10 days in India. I honestly can’t believe how quickly time has flown, friends! But for now, I’ll be doing my best to enjoy the cosy laidback Goa life to the max.
Since I’ll be in Goa for this mini-getaway from the hectic city life, I don’t plan to spend much time on my laptop and so I’ll be pretty absent from the blogosphere for the next week. I’ve got my posts more or less scheduled (if you can believe it lol) but I likely won’t have time to engage much this week. Hopefully, I’ll be able to catch up quickly when I’m back from the getaway! 💜

I agree, that duology has gorgeous covers. Goa sounds amazing! I read about it in a book but have yet to travel that far. That food does look amazing. Hope the rest of your holiday goes well.

Have soooo much fun!!! You deserve it, Dini! I cannot believe that it’s almost time to go home and I bet you are so excited too! By the way, the food.. I’m droollingggg… It looks amazing. I’ve been eating salads for two weeks and I’m always starving. Going to have to go find a snack after seeing that. haha. Also- your nails are amazing!! I love them. ❤

The covers are very nice for that duology! I’m looking forward to reading the sequel when it comes out. The beach photo is lovely. 😍 I wish I still lived close to a beach because I would be there in a heartbeat.
