We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night reading The Jasmine Throne. I’ve been looking forward to reading this for a while now because I’ve heard so many amazing things about it. I’m reading this with Jess and we’re both not far into it yet but I’m very intrigued so far and I can’t wait to read more!

What are you currently reading?

Aside from a busy work week, it’s been pretty quiet and uneventful. I felt a brief moment of homesickness earlier this week after speaking to my parents and sister but time is passing so quickly, I know September will be here before I know it. Tomorrow another friend of ours will be arriving from London—we were like the “three musketeers” at uni in Australia but it’s been 13 years since the three of us have been in the same country together so we’re all really excited to have this reunion! 😍

It’s been yet another slow reading week and friends, I miss my reading time! 😂 I feel kind of resigned at this point because I know I’m gonna have to get used to this change for the next couple of months but at least it’s only for the next couple of months… I’m glad that I’ve been able to at least engage a bit more with new blogs this week though! There are so many gorgeous blogs out there and I have blog envy 😍

    • I’m just about 30% in now. It’s a bit of a slow burn but I’m loving the world-building and the characters are delightfully morally grey! 😂 I bet once the action picks up it’s gonna be wild!

    • Haha, yeah, I haven’t had to figure out the balance between holing up with a book and being social for a good long while so it’s definitely been an adjustment! I hope you have a great week ahead, Jordyn! 💜
