I’m spending a good chunk of my Sunday reading Just One Damned Thing After Another by Jodi Taylor. I’m enjoying it so much! The writing and characters are sharp and witty and the humour is the perfect amount of dry. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series soon(ish)!
What are you currently reading?
Today is our last day in Goa and as I’m typing this out we’re sitting at a cafe having a strong cup of coffee before having our “last meal” in town. Time has passed by ridiculously fast with lots of vacation shenanigans involving a lot of adventuring for food, day-chilling and late-night drinking sessions on the balcony of my friend’s old Portuguese-style home. Goa is so quiet and slow in contrast to Delhi life and its been a welcome change; sadly, it hasn’t rained as much as we hoped it would while we’ve been here so the weather has felt a little on the not-so-great side of warm/humid. As much fun as we’ve been having, we’re also really looking forward to getting back to our normal routine from tomorrow and then the countdown officially begins for my last week in India before heading back to Indonesia!
I haven’t been reading as much as I hoped to be, which is honestly pretty on-trend with my reading track record since I’ve been in India. 😂 It isn’t a bad thing since I’ve been busy with being more social and having a good time. This week I’ve been totally MIA on all platforms and especially so on the blog, except for hopping onto Twitter every now and then before bed for random bouts of engagement.

I’m not familiar with Jodi Taylor but I’m laughing at that book title. 🙂 Sounds like good times in Goa – despite the heat and humidity. Here’s to getting back into normal routines! 🙂

Most people don’t hope it rains when they are on vacation. Do they get those quick downpours in Goa that make things a bit better? (It can be like that in Florida) Your pictures are awesome. It really looks like you had a wonderful time.

Haha, I know it’s weird that I wanted it to rain (it didn’t wherever we went) but it was just *so* humid! When we first arrived there were daily downpours that lasted for a short time and cooled things down a lot. It was a fun time and I can’t believe it’s already over now!

Definitely wished that it wasn’t so hot but it is part of life in Asia, I suppose 😂 There were some really nice cooling winds down there though that were fantastic! I’m sad that the time here has already come and gone now.

It was a really lovely place surrounded by forests and so lush when it rained (like it was doing over dinner in this picture)! I can’t believe my time here is already over—its gone so fast!
