We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time curled up reading in bed with or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’m hoping to spend the rest of my Sunday night in bed finishing In A Jam by Kate Canterbary. I love Canterbary’s romances and this one is the perfect mix of angst, incendiary chemistry, fantastic banter and friendships, and explosive steam. 🥵 It’s safe to say that I’m loving it!
What are you currently reading?

I’m posting this much later than I intended because (as per usual) I’m not organised to schedule posts in advance and I’ve just arrived on a delayed flight from Jakarta to Bali. It’s good to be back home though and I can’t wait to jump in the pool first thing in the morning! ☀️ The second week back after India has been pretty uneventful for the most part. I went to the office to meet my supervisor and colleagues briefly and I got to catch up with old colleagues after 8 years and it was nice! Now that I’m in Bali for my cousin’s wedding, life is about to get much more hectic… 😂

It doesn’t feel like I’ve read much in the past week because my mood has been so fickle but I think I’m definitely reading much more than I was when I was in India. 😂 I’m hoping that my mood settles soon (although probably not) but I’m slowly working my way through books again and its been nice! I think I’ve also been more active on the blogosphere lately but ever since coming back to Indonesia, my blog stats have dropped drastically and I really don’t know why cos I’m really not doing anything different (even posting at the same times). It’s such a bummer and I’m trying not to let it bother me, lol! 😮💨
ICYMI, here’s what I posted on the blog these past two weeks (since I missed last week):
- Last, Now, Next Book Tag
- Let’s Talk Bookish: Tips for Newbie Bloggers
- Blog Tour Review: As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow by Zoulfa Katouh
- #WWWWednesday: 14 September 2022
- #TopTenTuesday: Books with Geographical Terms in the Title
- ARC Review: Dyer Street Punk Witches by Phil Williams

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and that you have a great week ahead! Take care of yourselves and of each other, friends 🖤

A catch up after eight years – that’s quite a catch up. I hope the wedding goes well and that you get your reading back on track. Stats, mmm. I was cleaning up my Feedly and could not get over how many bloggers are gone. That explains a lot of my drop-off. Not sure if your issue is the same though.

I hope your reading gets back on track and your stats too. I was glad you said something on Twitter about it or I wouldn’t have realized that you disappeared on my shorter feed (only 50 book bloggers 🤣). Like I already told you – I thought you were taking a break. When I was looking into it – I got a message that there wasn’t a blog by your name in English, and I wondered if maybe moving around somehow messed up a setting somewhere, but I don’t know. I can see your posts now and got you back on the short feed. Have a great time at the wedding!

I hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding, Dini. I have been trying to catch up on reading blogs as I have been crazy busy, but just read a bunch of yours from this past week. I sure hope whatever book you choose, gets you out of your reading slump, Dini.
