I’ll be spending my Sunday night in bed starting The Drowned Woods by Emily Lloyd-Jones. I’ve read a book by this author before and absolutely loved it so I’m looking forward to picking this up for my stop on the blog tour next weekend!

Once upon a time, there was a wicked fairy who, in an act of vengeance, cursed a line of princesses to die. A curse that could only be broken by true loveās kiss.
Youāve heard this before, havenāt you? The handsome prince. The happily-ever-after.Utter nonsense.
Let me tell you, no one in Briar actually cares about what happens to its princesses. Not the way they care about their jewels and elaborate parties and charm-granting elixirs. I thought I didnāt care, either.
Until I met her.
Princess Aurora. The last heir to Briarās throne. Kind. Gracious. The future queen her realm needs. One who isnāt bothered that I am Alyce, the Dark Grace, abhorred and feared for the mysterious dark magic that runs in my veins. Humiliated and shamed by the same nobles who pay me to bottle hexes and then brand me a monster. Aurora says I should be proud of my gifts. That she…cares for me. Even though it was a power like mine that was responsible for her curse.
But with less than a year until that curse will kill her, any future I might see with Aurora is swiftly disintegratingāand she canāt stand to kiss yet another insipid prince. I want to help her. If my power began her curse, perhaps itās what can lift it. Perhaps, together, we could forge a new world.
Nonsense again.
Because we all know how this story ends, donāt we? Aurora is the beautiful princess. And Iā
I am the villain.
Happy Friday book lovers! We’re back with another First Lines Friday, a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines? Here are the rules:

Special thanks to Meghan Quinn and her team for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review!

Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:

So, weāre back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Hilarious Book Titles.

Hi, friends! Today I’ll be sharing a release day spotlight for Not Betting on Forever by Natasha Moore. This is a new contemporary romance set in a small town with mature (40+) main characters and features a sort of “forbidden” frenemies-to-lovers trope!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed with Royally Not Ready by Meghan Quinn. This is an ARC for next week and I got to 10% when I started reading this morning and already read a line that was FIRE. š„ Woo, MQ is bringing the heat againāand you know we’re here for it! š
