We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time curled up reading in bed with or which book you wish you had time to read today!
I’ve got a few reads going on this Sunday and I’ve been (kinda) rotating them all day:

- The Dragon Republic → 43% → Reading w/ Julie, Chris and Joanna → It’s super dark, emotional, intense, and terrifying, lol. I’m so glad I’m reading it with these three cos it’s been a ride and we’re not even halfway through!
- First Meet Foul → 64% → I started this morning and I can’t stop reading it. it’s so good! the angsty pining. the sexual and romantic tension. his anxious grump and her sassy sunshine. 🥹 I love Lo and Luca sooo much! I’ll be finishing this tonight.
- The Serpent and the Wings of Night → 15% → This has been sitting on my Kindle library for a couple of weeks now but Jordyn’s review convinced me to pick it up ASAP. This also fits the first side quest for the Magical Readathon so it’s perfect! I’m really enjoying it so far.
What are you currently reading?

It was a really quiet week at the office this week because the majority of my colleagues went on leave as this weekend was Eid (the end of the Muslim fasting month).
✨ Eid Mubarak to any bookish friends who celebrate! ✨
Aside from being quiet, we also had a short work week as Friday was a holiday and my weekend will extend one more day until tomorrow, so another long weekend for me, yay! I’m hoping to finish at least two books by the time tomorrow ends? Let’s see if we can make it happen 🙂

On books: I managed to find a neat little easy trick to catalogue the ebooks I’ve purchased from Amazon from 2012 – 2023. It’s only the basic info (title, author) but at least that big chunk of work is done and now it’s a matter of filling in the other details (pub date, genre, audience, etc.). It definitely makes the ebook cataloguing process a smaller headache cos… there are a lot of books! 😂
On blogging: I managed to catch up on a bit of blogging this week which left me feeling pretty productive! I need to find more time to discover new blogs though. If you have any new favourite bloggers, please do share! 😍
ICYMI, here’s what I posted since the last Sunday post:
- Birthstone Book Covers: April 2023 Edition!
- #FirstLinesFriday: 23 April 2023
- Book Review: A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske
- ARC Review: Royal Rebel by Heather Frost
- #WWWWednesday: 19 April 2023
- #TopTenTuesday: 10 Non-Bookish Things
- Book Review: Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake by Mazey Eddings

right to be wrong – joss stone
I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! 💜

Happy long weekend! It’s rainy and gray today where I live, so I’m looking to do lots of reading as well. ^.^

Happy Eid, Dini. Today, I have been listening to The Girl on the 88 Bus and reading an anthology called The Comeback Cowboy. I am enjoying both, and would love to finish them, but probably not the anthology as I am only 30% of the way in and will be going to a Trivia Night Dinner and Games shortly. Have a nice week.

It was a fun evening with great company. I have had a quiet week, but my grandkids slept over last night so we had a great evening. I am just waiting for them to get up so we can have breakfast and get ready for school.

You have me very curious about that Snowe book, and I just clicked – YEAH, it’s KU! Long weekends are great, but those first full weeks back at work are tough. I tried to catalog my purchases, but gave up. I do wish I could filter for unread in “Your Content” library. Amazon has some useless filters.
