I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed with my ARC for One Timer by Teagan Hunter. I just finished book two in the Carolina Comets series last week and absolutely loved it and Hunter’s romcoms never fail to make me laugh so I’m excited to dive in! 😍
What are you currently reading?
It’s been a long and draining week! The place I’m a consultant for has a huge event next week with government agencies and international and local organisations and each day we get closer to the big day, the more hectic work has been. This week has been so incredibly busy and I can’t wait for the event to be over! 😂
In other news, my insomnia is still kicking my butt but I managed to get 5 hours of sleep on Saturday morning and woke up just in time for lunch, lol. Today was my parent’s 36th Wedding Anniversary and planned to go out for a Korean BBQ lunch but decided to just have Indian at home! We had a feast of biryani, naan, butter chicken, and daal tadka—it was so freaking good! 🤤
It’s felt like another slow reading week but I did finish a buddy read and I got threw a few romances. I need to start reading my ARCs but ugh, this mood I’m in is not having it! 😭 Even though I didn’t post about it, I decided to join the Orilium: Gear Up Mini Magical Readathon hosted by G @ Book Roast. This was for picking our conduit(s) and legacy, and I kinda-sorta managed to complete it as I did read a book for a conduit+legacy but I didn’t end up reading a book for my order’s conduit as it was very specific and again, my mood was just not having it! But I’m sure that I’ll be able to complete it before classes start in April. 🙈

Hehe, thanks Sam! I would defo recommend checking out Hunter’s books! They’re super easy romcoms to read and always so entertaining 😍 I started with her Texting series and didn’t look back! I hope you enjoy them if you decide to give her books a try!

Hehe, thank you! It was a really fun and relaxing day! 😊 Hunter writes some pretty great romcoms—I started with her Texting series (too funny) and this is her first sports romance series and I’m enjoying it so far. Lots of great banter and woo, the steamy chemistry! 🥵 Heaven is such a fab song too but maybe I’m biased cos I *love* Troye Sivan, lol! Hope you have a great week ahead!

I still have to read Race to the Sun as well. I’m so mad that the ebooks of the RRP books are not available here, only the hardbacks otherwise I would have already read some of them. 😛

Yeah, it’s mostly just inconvenient since I read more ebooks lately. I know the books are available as ebooks in other regions, so it mostly just annoys me. But I’m sure I will get to read the hardcovers eventually. 🙂
