Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’m happily spending my Sunday night in bed with Beneath Cruel Fathoms by Anela Deen! I’m part of the blog tour organised by The Write Reads for the BBNYA top 10 winners and this book was number 6. I’ve heard great things about this romantasy so I’m very excited to dive in!

What are you currently reading?

This week passed in a blur! We still have workers at the house and it’s kinda tiring having this many people working around the place after practically having no one around for the past two years? Not to mention the noise! 🙉 But other than that… Nothing really happened except a lot of reading! After my emotionally draining reads this week I decided to paint and relax to some favourite tracks today and it did good! I honestly can’t believe it’s Sunday though because where did the week go?!

I buddy read the final book in The Green Bone Saga with Jess this week and oof, Jade Legacy freaking SENT ME!!! 😭 It’s been two days and I still don’t know what to do with myself and I still get teary-eyed at the mere thought of my favourite family and this amazing series? Ngl, TGBS is probably my favourite fantasy of all time? Idk, but it sure feels like it right now. As a result of being entirely consumed by Jade Legacy followed by reading These Violent Delights with Leslie, I’ve been completely MIA on the blog. I’m sorry I haven’t engaged on my blog or on other blogs but I’ll make up for it this coming week!

ICYMI, here’s what I posted this week (I also just realised that my Friday discussion post wasn’t scheduled even though it was all prepared? Why am I like this?! I blame Jade Legacy, lol! 😮‍💨):

  1. I am not sure if I ever had a book hangover like that. There are a few out there that mere mention of the title brings tears to my eyes, but I can usually recover pretty quick. At least you got in some paint therapy (pictures?)

  2. I recommend some major fluffy romances in your future to keep a slump from happening. I am so glad that we enjoyed TVD though. I think that the Greenbone series might be one of my top of all time too! It’s just so good. I hope you have an amazing reading week! ❤
