We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Posts I’ve Written That Give You the Best Glimpse of Me (Share the blog/Insta/Twitter posts or YouTube/TikTok videos you’ve made that showcase your personality the most and offer the clearest window into your personality. These are the posts you wish everyone would read!)
I wasn’t sure I’d be able to come up with much for this topic and it took a lot of hemming and hawing while looking through many of my old posts. I settled on the following ten posts that I think give a good glimpse of me—not sure if it’s the “best” glimpse of me but we’re rolling with it! You can see how much my post styles have changed over the years and I have to admit, my writing voice in some of my older posts kind of made me cringe a little. 🤭 I’m sorry if I scare you off with these posts but if I miraculously didn’t, I’ll say that I don’t think I’m as weird these days? 😂 Whatever you take away from these posts (if you even take a look at any), I hope they at least made you laugh a little or better yet, maybe we’ll become new bookish friends!

Meet the book blogger!

Picking my blog’s name

Bookish thoughts on book reviewers

Book blogger identity crisis

Balancing blogging and life

How blogging has affected my reading

On being an indecisive reader

Prioritising diversity in my reads

My reading tastes over the past decade

My thoughts while writing a book review… All Panic and No Disco! 😂

Have you written many posts that you think give other book bloggers a great glimpse of who you are? Do we have anything in common?

Off to read Book blogger identity crisis!

All the blogs sound interesting, I’ll stop by to read them. 🙂

Going back and looking at my discussion posts makes me cringe too! I even will reedit them sometimes if there’s been enough time since posting and present, so that my style has improved. Sometimes it’s fun to do this and sometimes it’s, well, just too “depressing” especially if I reread those that make me go, “and what am I trying to say with this sentence…?!” 😉 Thanks for visiting my website today.

This is a great list, Dini!! I should have done something more like this. Although, I don’t have a ton of discussion posts and maybe I should look into doing more of it! Book Blogger identity crisis is something I’m dealing with at the moment.. so I’m headed there. 🙂

Honestly, I feel the same way about some of my old posts. But I think that’s a sign of personal and writing growth and should be celebrated!
Thank you for stopping by earlier.

You know, I haven’t really thought about how blogging has changed my reading habits, since I’ve been blogging for so long (about 20 years, yikes), but there are definitely some things I do because of blogging that I wouldn’t have done otherwise.

A great list of posts about you. I am still struggling to find the balance between blogging and the rest of my life. Ugh! Too bad people like having food in their bellies and internet to do things like watch youtube and blog, or I could spend more time doing the things I enjoy like reading!

You actually have a lot of great posts for getting to know you! I don’t think any of them are cringe at all. I find it so interesting that you moved around so much and now live in Indonesia. I’m from Malaysia and I’m now living in Canada!

I never really participated in discussion posts, but reading several of these, I probably should have. You do have a good sense of humor, Dini. It is nice to be able to laugh or at least smile at ourselves.

I like how you write many posts about very important topics that are related both to books but also to your own life. I especially liked the post about finding balance between blogging and real life.
