Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp [221]

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed with The Improbable Meet-Cute Series starting with The Exception to the Rule by Christina Lauren. I discovered this series last night and took a peek at the first book by CLo and I have a feeling I’m gonna really enjoy these shorts! And look how cute and colourful they are! 😍 If you have KU, they’re all on there and they include the audiobooks, too.

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

Most of this week saw me working from home and feeling crappy in the process of recovery. I guess the anaesthesia did funky things to my stomach and I felt bloated, nauseous, and kind of achy and gross overall. Fun times 😂 But I’ll be going back to the office starting tomorrow and while I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the slower pace of WFH, it’ll be good to get back into the office groove.

Taking it easier last week meant I also got more time to read which reminded me of how much reading time I had during the pandemic and when I had my previous job. I missed it!

ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

comeback – carly rae jepsen x bleachers

I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! 💜

  1. I loved the CLo one so much. I hope to read the others soon. Can’t wait to hear what you think about those meet cutes. It is nice when the job lets you heal from home. I hope you are feeling better and are up to being back to the office.

    • Thanks, Celeste! Y’know, I do enjoy getting out and going to the office. I do miss the casualness of WFH sometimes but I am a person who does get restless and needs that structure of the office space to keep me focused, lol. I agree, it is nice to have the flexibleness when needed and I’m lucky that I do have that 🙂 Have a great week ahead!

    • I ended up reading until the third book in this series last night and really loved CLo’s and Jimenez’s books! They gave me all the fluttery butterfly feels and gah, it was just so feel good and hopeful. I’m such a hopeless romantic 😂😍 Have a great week ahead, Tessa!
