Hello friends, I’m back today with another month’s edition for The Birthstone Book Covers series created by one of my favourites, Leslie. She created this at the start of 2022 and was born out of her curiosity about birthstone colours and it’s a fun way to show different book covers/titles corresponding to that month’s birthstone.

The August birthstone is SAPPHIRE.
This stone is such a vibrant shade of blue and it’s gorgeous! Off the top of my head, I can only recall one book that had such a vibrant shade of blue on the cover (but my memory could also be failing me right now lol) but hopefully, I can find more covers that capture this beautiful colour!

I *finally* read it this year and I’m so glad that I finally did. It defo took a little while to grow on me but once I did, I fell hard and fast! 😂😍 I hope you enjoy it whenever you pick it up, Caro!

Love all the blue books. Gemina is a total favorite of mine. I think I would include Dear Emmie Blue and Ramona Blue.

I love Gemina. I think I might love it even more than Illuminae? I don’t know but both books are faves! Ooh, I still haven’t read both Emmie Blue and Ramona Blue but I’ve heard great things about both books (reminds me they’re on my TBR, lol). Great picks!
