I’ve actually got two reads on at the moment! I’m reading The War of Two Queens with Maya and Leslie. We started earlier on in the week but I admit I’m struggling with it a bit… I almost feel like JLA just gave up on editing? No book of hers needs to be this long. Ever!
I’m also reading an ARC of So Not Meant to Be and I’m loving it. The hate-to-love antagonistic banter and semi-childish antics are hilarious and absolutely crack me up!
What are you currently reading?
Holy wow, I’m absolutely knackered! Thanks to my great procrastination skills, I ended up spending the whole day today packing because, naturally, I left it all to the last minute. I really know how to make life easier for myself, eh? 🙄 But I’m all done now. I think I sorted everything that needed doing and I’m equally excited and nervous to be jetting off tomorrow morning.
It feels surreal only because I have no idea what’s really gonna happen next but I’ve been told that I need to decompress and shed the cloak of the last five years and enjoy myself a bit before overthinking things. So, even though it’s tough to turn off the brain and keep the anxieties at bay sometimes, I’m gonna do my best to do so!
This week has passed in an absolute blur and I don’t really recall doing much except becoming unemployed, sorting out my trip and… Reading here and there? 😂 I have been abysmal with the blog hopping, I’m so sorry!

I thought I was the only one who had a thing about long books and lack of editing. There is a certain romance author I feel that way about who everyone but me loves. Oh, well. This is exciting! Safe travels and I cannot wait to hear about all your adventures.

Ooh, now I’m very curious to know who that author is lol 👀 But yes, this particular author has ridiculously long books that really really don’t need to be this long. It’s frustrating cos the writing it so repetitive but it’s like she knows people will read the book anyway so it doesn’t matter 🙈

Haha, YES! It took a while for this song to grow on me but grow on me it *really* did and now I can’t stop listening to it 😂 I hope you have a safe flight to Florida too and enjoy your vacation time!!! 💜 And no… I really don’t think it’s your mood hahaha

So Not Meant to Be sounds so good, Dini! I’ll have to check it out. I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about TWoTQ. I haven’t read it yet, but based on what I’ve heard, I’m not sure I want to. Loved the first two books in the series though. I hope you have a great trip!

Yeah, that’s something I probably should’ve done cos I was not wowed by it. The only one that really impressed me was the ending of the third book and even then I feel like it only impressed me because it was so bad before that 😂 Definitely feel like I’m hate reading now LOL
