We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I spent most of Sunday in bed finishing Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting. This is the second book in her Spark House series and I’m happy to say that I enjoyed it so much more than the first! There were still things that irked me but I liked the romance much more. My review will go up tomorrow! 🙂
What are you currently reading?

This week felt incredibly slow but also, it’s already mid-May? How does this time thing actually work? I honestly don’t know how time got away from me so quickly… I still haven’t applied for my Indian visa and I’ll be leaving in about 3 weeks? It shouldn’t be a problem but I’m feeling the pressure now since I had plans to get shit done tomorrow but it’s a public holiday so banks and all will be closed (oop). 🙃

But his week was pretty alright. It involved a fair bit of reading, binge-watching Peaky Blinders, and venturing out to see a classical music performance on Saturday night. The concert was quite lovely and relaxing and a good top off to the week!

Gotta be honest, I’ve not been doing great with blog hopping or responding to comments lately. I feel like I caught up at some point earlier in the week and now I already feel behind again! Does anyone else ever feel like this too? 🙈
ICYMI, here’s what I posted on the blog this week:

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and that you have a great week ahead! Take care of yourselves and of each other, friends 🖤

Peaky Blinders is one of those shows I know I’ll love but keep putting off because… whew, who has time for multi-season obsessions right now?? (sadly, not me.) I’m still trying to wrap my head around it being May already. 😅

Haha, I want to say that I’m speeding through it but it’s actually quite a slow-paced (but still action packed/drama filled) show and the episodes are longer too. But it’s really good and I’m hoping I stick with it cos I’m absolutely terrible at finishing long series! 😂

I am glad to hear you enjoyed Starry-Eyed, though, I had the opposite reaction. I loved both, but something about the first one made me love it more.

I’m very much in the minority but I really didn’t enjoy the first book so I’m glad that I enjoyed this one more! 🙈 I’m quite excited for Harley’s story though cos she’s my favourite Spark sister so far!

Harley’s book needs to be something special. I have no idea where Hunting should go with her book, but it has to be something pretty wonderful for her.

I have no idea where she’ll take Harley’s story either but I hope Hunting does her solid! Harley is such a sweetie 🥰
