We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed with My Mechanical Romance by Alexene Farol Follmuth. This is an ARC I’m buddy reading with Leslie and Julie as we all have a copy. I’m excited for a fun/light YA contemporary with a bit of romance!

FUN FACT: this author also writes fantasy under a different name and is better known for her very famous recent release The Atlas Six! 👀

What are you currently reading?

Is it just me or has this week crawled by? But also, can you believe that it’s already the end of April?! Work was a bit hectic and I ended up working an extra day as well but after that, I’ve just been gaming a lot, reading some and I’ve even watched a bit of Heartstopper. It felt like everyone and their mum was watching it the minute it came out so I decided to catch an episode or three! I’m surprised I haven’t binged the show yet but I feel like this is one I’d like to savour cos it’s really hitting all the feels! 🥹 I know I’m not the only one to think so as everyone on my timeline seems to be talking about it non-stop and I don’t blame them one bit! Have you watched Heartstopper? I think I’ll finish it this week!

It feels like it’s been a bit of a quiet week on the blog as well. I managed to catch up on a bit of blog hopping the other day and I was really happy about that cos I discovered some great posts that I can’t wait to share in my monthly wrap up.

  2. I binged Heartstopper yesterday! Couldn’t stopped watching it. I loved it so much! ♥️ I had no idea Olivia Blake had a pen name! I’ve got that ARC too, hopefully I’ll read it soonish. I hope all of you enjoy it. Happy reading, Dini!

  4. WAIT WHAT. Mechanical Romance is by Atlas Six author?? MY MIND IS BLOWN.
    I’m going to start Heartstopper today and I’m so excited. It looks adorable!!

  6. I forgot about Heartstopper because I had such a busy past few weekends but I started it last night and if I wasn’t so exhausted from a long day, would have finished it! LOL I’m on episode 5 and it’s so adorable, ugh, it gives me so many feels. Will finish it today I think – I love all the music. Netflix does so good with these YA romance adaptions. I still haven’t read Atlas Six but now I’m intrigued!

    • All of the above? 🥹 this is exactly why i didn’t binge the series cos i knoooow it’s gonna wreck me in the worst and best way possible. haha I’m excited to keep watching it though! Maybe re-read the comic and then do the whole cycle again 😂
