We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed finishing up my ARC for Royal Captive by Heather Frost (out on 18 March). I’ve been taking my time with this book cos there’s a lot happening and the stakes just keep getting higher! It’s also so satisfying when a theory I had in book one, that I didn’t think would really end up being possible, ends up being POSSIBLE. So satisfying! 😍
What are you currently reading?

This felt like a weird week to me. It seemed to pass by very quickly—I mean, I can’t believe it’s already Sunday now, but it also feels like two weeks’ worth of days has passed? Maybe it’s because I got a high fever mid-week and it felt like it took ages to get better though I was fine by Saturday arvo! I went with my sister and two cousins today for a small foodie outing as we were craving ramen and it was so delicious and satisfying! We also stopped by Kinokuniya and I walked away without buying any new books *a proud moment*! 🥲

We also ended up buying boba, several boxes of drool-worthy cookies 😬 and I bought new kicks as there was a great sale to celebrate Women’s Day on 8 March! I’m glad that at last the week wrapped up with a fun day spent with family—growing up it was rare to have these moments cos we were always living abroad so it’s nice to hang out as adults now!

Though the previous weeks felt like slow reading weeks, this week really has been a slow reading week. I think I’ve done pretty well with blog hopping this week though, so I’m pretty happy with that!

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and that you have a great week ahead! Take care of yourselves and of each other, friends 🖤

The food looks amazing. 😍 It feels good to go into a bookstore and not buy anything! I love getting books but it is so easy to buy and then either not read them forever or give them away because you aren’t interested anymore. Glad that you were able to spend time with family. I hope this coming week is great as well! ❤

Sorry to hear you were under the weather, but at least you felt better by the weekend. As always, your food pictures have me drooling. A Women’s Day sale – look at that!
