We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!
So, last week I said I was going to spend the rest of my Sunday night in bed reading Mr Right Across the Street but that didn’t happen and I ended up playing Animal Crossing until I fell asleep… 🙈 This time I’m actually reading it and I’m about 46% in. I’m enjoying it so far — it’s quite sweet and cute, plus both characters are pretty real and relatable! It’s also making me want to have a cocktail in hand whenever I read it cos the ones mentioned in the book sound really good! 😂
Mia Abbott’s move to Manchester was supposed to give her time and space from all the disastrous romantic choices she’s made in her past. But then the hot guy who lives opposite – the one who works out every day at exactly 10 a.m., not that Mia has noticed thank-you-very-much – starts leaving notes in his window…for her.
Bar owner Luke Doyle has his own issues to deal with but as he shows Mia the sites of her new city he also shows her what real romance looks like for the first time. And when he cooks up a signature cocktail in her honour, she realises that the man behind the bar is even more enticing than any of his creations. And once she’s had a taste she knows it will never be enough!

I can’t believe that today is already the last day of February? Two months of the new year are already over and I have a feeling the rest of 2021 is going to fly by just as quickly! Not a whole lot has been going on life-wise. Last week I managed to get a bit more sleep which means my mental health is slowly improving. One thing that I need to start doing again is some physical activity because I’m feeling a whole lot of sluggish. I had been doing so well with exercising daily using the Ring Fit Adventure game but I had to stop as the many many squats I was doing started to really irritate my knee condition (Osgood Schlatter). It never used to get painful when I worked my legs but I guess I’m getting old(er)? 🙈 The doctor says I either get it operated or I do less tedious exercises but damn, the Ring Fit is the most fun I’ve had working out in ages and I’ll be sad to not use it again 😕
I’ve been playing a whole lot of Animal Crossing this week and I’ve redone huge chunks of my island to make more waterways, cliffs and diagonal bridges! I’m super happy with how it’s all turning out. On a super plus note, WINTER IS GONE! 🥳 Ugh, never have I ever been so tired of snow! LOL. The grass isn’t vibrant green yet but I’m glad we’re no longer seeing white! The first full-day rain in game happened this week too and that was nice 😍

Thanks to Animal Crossing I haven’t been reading that much this week? I managed to finish my re-read of Aurora Rising today (oh my feels) but throughout the week I think I only managed to finish three books maybe? I also haven’t been doing a lot of blog hopping (I’m sorry) but I did manage to respond to comments on my blog this evening and now I’m all caught up with that for the last two weeks 😂 I have a few blog tour reads that I’m really excited to get to, the main one being Lost in the Never Woods! Although the tour is towards the end of March I think I’m gonna pick this one up maybe this week? Let’s see! I’m so excited to check it out especially since I ended up loving Cemetery Boys! 😍 Also, tell me this cover isn’t the most gorgeous thing!? Ah, I LOVE!!!

Mr. Right across the Street looks good! Glad you you are enjoying it so far. I keep picking up books that aren’t doing it for me. 😂 I just wish I was loving what I am reading…sigh. Yay for no snow! Your village is looking super cute.

Mr. Right across the Street sounds super cute! Ha! I was just talking about how I need to amp up my physical activity because I’ve been so lazy. I need to start a challenge or something. Your Animal Crossing looks so cute!

Pretty sure I read about this one at one point. It sounds like it could be fun so I’ll definitely have to read more about it. 🙂

Nice that you’re getting more/better sleep. It’s amazing how lack of good sleep can effect us in so many ways. Hope your week is off to a good start!

These two months flew by! Can’t believe it’s been a year and we’re still struggling with the pandemic. 😦
I’m glad you’ve been sleeping more, Dini. Take care. ♥
