It’s that time of the week again, friends! We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: spring TBR possibility pile!
To say that I’ve got a ton of eARCs that need to be read over the next few months would really be a mild understatement. Why do I keep requesting more books and why do I keep signing up for more blog tours after telling myself I’d take a nice long break from it for a while? *shrugs* I got problems. As fun as it’d be to list all those books here, there are a few others that have been sitting on my TBR that I’d like to get to soon as well, so this is my possibility pile for those reads!
NGL, I got the sample of Foundryside and started reading it on a whim and it’s already hooked me in!
Making that conscious effort to read more Asian authors with Jade City!
I’ve had Crown of Feathers on my TBR for so long now and I’ve heard so many positive things!
The Bromance Book Club is another romance that has been on my TBR for ages and I don’t know why!
Same as the above with Get A Life, Chloe Brown!
I’m using Words in Deep Blue for one of my POPSUGAR prompts and I think it’ll make me emo AF!
I love Kristoff and that’s all the reason I need to read LIFEL1K3?
I don’t know why I haven’t read With the Fire on High yet. I’ve almost started it several times now!
Bad Blood is another prompt book for POPSUGAR and I’ve heard it’s deliciously messed up.
Thought I’d throw in something fast and light with some poetry from The Dark Between Stars!
So those are ten books from my spring possibility pile! Do we have any books in common on our spring lists? Happy reading, friends!

Foundryside and Jade City. I love those books ❤ I am hoping to reread Foundryside before I hop on into the sequel.

I’ve heard so many good things about all three of the books you mentioned. I’ve kinda started Foundryside and Jade City but coming back to them when my mood is better. It’s been so hard to concentrate! Lol

I’m reading Words in Deep Blue right now and it’s making my heart do funny things. I’ve shed a tear or two already. It’s a lot heavier than I expected! Also had no idea it was set in Australia and don’t know why I found that surprising! LOL

If it helps I’m surprised to hear it’s set in Australia too …… I have ZERO recollection of that 😂😂😂

YAY I’M EXCITED! There’s so much hype around it. Maybe I’ll pick it up after Words in Deep Blue… Unless I feel like a complete genre change is needed 🤣

Oh I would consider both those books poles apart! But maybe that’s just me lol 😂

I had mixed feelings about The Bromance Book Club but I mostly enjoyed it. Ad I’ve seen great reviews for Get a Life, Chloe Brown!

I totally get your feelings for Bromance Book Club! I agree with what you said about Thea and it did bother me. I think I was more bothered by Liv though. She really irritated me 🙈 But I admit I really enjoyed it in the end. It was a really fast read too!

Bad Blood is one I have been wanting to read for a while too!

I really hope to get to it soon. I keep putting it off even though I did start reading a chapter a while back. It’s good I think I just have to be in the right non-fiction mood 😛 I hope you enjoy it whenever you read it!

Foundryside has been sitting on my shelf for a while now untouched. I really need to pick it up. Glad to hear it has a great start!

It started out strong and I wanted to keep on with it until I woke up the next day and my funky mood starting swinging back to romance? 😂 I think that might be my lane for now… LOL

Great list, Dini! I loved Foundryside, hope you enjoy it too. 😀 Jade City is one I really need to read, and I need to try some of Elizabeth Acevedo’s work this year, too. I love the cover of Words in Deep Blue!

I’m glad to say that it lived up to the hype for me although I did find Thea (and her sister Liv!!!) a little on the irritating side 😅 I’m so glad I read it though! The book club is *chefs kiss*!

I read it and it’s SUCH a quick read! I didn’t expect to speed through it as quickly as I did but literally a few hours and I was done. It lived up to the hype for me too 😀 Hope you enjoy it whenever you get to it though!

Ha ha. I’m the same way with requesting books and signing up for blog tours. I just can’t say no! At least I’m not the only one 🙂
I really liked WITH THE FIRE ON HIGH. I also want to read the BROMANCE book. It sounds super fun. I hope you love these as well as all your other picks.
Happy TTT!

This is the first year of doing blog tours and I can’t seem to stop 😂 Thankfully they’ve still been more fun than overwhelming for me! Haha I ended up very quickly reading and finishing Bromance Book Club and it was great! Definitely a fun feel good romcom to lighten spirits up these days ❤

Love the phrase “Possibility Pile,” so much more realistic since I’m a mood reader haha! Speaking of which I actually received The Bromance Book Club from the library, but had to return it before I read it! Hoping to get that one and Get A Life soon-ish!

As a fellow mood reader, I’m totally with you. I don’t think I’ve ever managed to stick to a set TBR before 😂 I finished The Bromance Book Club and was surprised by how quickly I read it. It was such a fast, fun and ultimately feel good romcom that had me in stitches. These men were fantastic! I hope that you get to read it again soon 😀

Such a great list!! I’ve heard such great things about Chloe Brown. It’s definitely one I’d love to read someday, too. I had an ARC of Foundryside I read, but I read it at a time when I shouldn’t have and was pretty distracted. I do remember I thought it was really well-written with great characters. I hope you enjoy it! ❤

Thanks Dedra! I can’t wait to read it. Perhaps I’ll pick it up now or soon… I keep hopping on and off the romance train because of my weird moods lol I’m really looking forward to reading Foundryside but I’m also kind of worried about not being in the right mood for it with everything going on. Let’s see what happens 😀 I hope it’ll be a good distraction from reality!
