I’m spending the rest of my Sunday in bed with Unwritten. I’ve been struggling to focus so I’m a little behind on the four blog tours next week. Welp! I started this earlier today and although it was a little confusing I’m getting into the story. I love the premise though (I mean, this synopsis is like every reader’s dream! LOL) so I’m hoping that the execution pulls through! 🤞🏽 Also, can we talk about how gorgeous this cover is? I love it 😍

I’ll be spending my Sunday night in bed with The Lore of Prometheus. I’m reading this for a blog tour next week with The Write Reads gang and although it admittedly took me a little while to get into the story, the pace started to really pick up around the 40% mark and I’m now at 75% and I’m invested in the well-being of these characters. My gosh, this is definitely not for the faint-hearted because there’s a lot of torture and experimentation and… It’s some kinda dark. 🙈 That said, I am enjoying how different it is to anything I’ve read before and I can see why it was the BBNYA 2020 winner!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in Bed with Crave Thy Neighbor and I’m excited to start it as I’ve really enjoyed Hunter’s Roommate Romps series so far! I’m reading this one in prep for the release date next week 😍

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in Bed hopefully finishing Ranger’s Oath. I actually started this book a while back but whenever I’d pick it up when I got into bed I’d fall asleep almost immediately? 😳 It’s weird because I know I enjoy it whenever I pick it up I think the pace was just a bit slow at the start and it took a little while to get into the book. That said, I really like the characters and the world building is well done! Not to mention that I really love this cover 😍 I think this also won fourth or fifth place in the BBNYA 2020 Awards and I defo get the love for it!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed reading Lost in the Never Woods. I’m reading this for my spot on the blog tour next week and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve never read a Peter Pan fanfic or re-telling before so this already has that uniqueness going for it. I’m about 40% through now and I’m enjoying it but it’s definitely a lot creepier than I thought it’d be! 😂

This is feeling a bit like déjà vu because I said I was starting the book last week but really, I ended up reading something else. This time though I am actually reading Silence is a Sense. Our narrator is a Syrian refugee whose trauma has led to her to stop speaking and we basically follow her story as she observes the lives of her neighbours through the windows of the apartment block and as she grapples with processing everything she has experienced in Syria and in fleeing Syria to get to where she is now. It’s a very heavy book and I’m also getting a bit confused at times as we get present day scenes mixed with flashbacks to Syria mixed with dreams and I’m not sure what’s real and what’s not sometimes. There’s a lot packed into this book and I hope my review will be able to do it justice!
