I almost skipped today because I think my list is going to be fairly boring? I don’t read a lot of contemporary, litfic or non-fiction, so there aren’t usually nationalities mentioned in the titles of the books I read. Maybe I’ll surprise myself and see that I’ve got a lot more nationalities than I expected though. Let’s see if my prediction is true or not!

Okay, so one slight cheat and one nationality repeat—the result wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be! I low-key thought I’d only be mentioning one or two nationalities at most, lol.

Rebecca’s is one I need to read about. It sounds like it could be a good read, and every time I see Mexican Gothic on a list, I am curious. It definitely looks intriguing. 🙂

I was a big fan! It has some mushroom horror, from what I can remember, which I know is a problem for some. Really delightful gothic story, Moreno nails the atmosphere, which is important in gothic stories

Mexican Gothic and American Marriage are both great, I’m not sure why they didn’t end up on my list. I did have Born a Crime and Norwegian Wood.

I felt like this took a lot of brain power and didn’t even try. haha. I feel like not a lot of people participated today. When I added my link at 8am there were only like 30ish people. You did a great job! Mexican Gothic is one that I’ve read and was interesting. haha

I almost had The Only Good Indians on my list, but wanted one that specified an Indian tribe, but couldn’t find one. It was definitely tough for those of us that don’t read specific genres. I think you did great with these!

I think I used One Italian Summer as well (I liked the book). Italian was a popular one for me which was surprising.

You’ve got some incredibly good books on your list! I have Norwegian Wood on my list but I forgot about Born A Crime and Mexican Gothic. I’ve also heard good things about The Only Good Indians. Great list!
