We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday night in bed with A Fire Endless by Rebecca Ross. It’s the second book in her Elements of Cadence duology, and I’m excited to dive back in as Chris and I continue this buddy read! I have a feeling this finale is going to be fairly angsty and painful, lol. 🫣
What book do you have in bed with you this Sunday?

Aside from actually having to work almost every day this week (a few hours each time except for Thursday which was a full day), it was an otherwise fairly uneventful week. I spent most of my time gaming as Disney Dreamlight Valley released the Winnie the Pooh Honeyglow Woods adventure pack! 🥹 I do find it a bit weird that we got Tigger in a different pack, but this time we get Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet. Eeyore is my fave guy. 💜 I’ve been spending so much time gaming this year, but I think that gaming mood is slowly winding down, so maybe I’ll dedicate more time to reading from now (let’s see how that works out, lol)!

I’ve also spent more time watching Netflix. I binged Witch Hat Atelier which is amazing and I love seeing the manga come to life on screen! 😍 I’m so sad that I already finished S1 and we have to probably wait until the end of next year for S2?! I also restarted my watch of the One Piece anime. I wanted to have something on in the background while gaming, so it had to be something in English. I’m pretty picky when it comes to dubbed version of anime, but the One Piece dub has grown on me a lot and now I’m really enjoying the show!

I kind of dropped the ball on Friday when I completely forgot that it was the scheduled day for July’s Let’s Talk Bookish. It’s so weird to be doing this discussion meme on a monthly basis, and I’m definitely going to have to set up a reminder system, so that I don’t mess up again in the future. I did wind up posting something even if it was late on Saturday, but it was nice to read the responses from other bloggers. It did make me realise that I miss the engagement with this blog, even if not a whole lot of people participated weekly, but we had the regulars and it was so nice. 🥰
ICYMI, here’s what I posted this week:

Oh boy, I read the Elements of Cadence duology a few years ago. It’s a good one! I’m glad you’re enjoying!

Really enjoying it! Surprised that it’s not more hyped cos it’s beautiful writing and an intense plot and fae, all the things the fantasy romance girlies usually love! Lol
