#TopTenTuesday: Summer 2026 Possibility Pile

Weโ€™re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Books on My Summer 2026 To-Read List

If you’ve been on my page before, you’ll know that I’m very much a mood reader so I’m usually going with vibes. I do have some tentative buddy reading plans for the summer, but for the most part, today’s Summer 2026 Possibility Pile is mostly books that I think sound good reads for the next couple of months. Aside from my buddy reads (marked by a โ˜€๏ธŽ),

โ˜€๏ธŽ The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne
โ˜€๏ธŽ The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst
โ˜€๏ธŽ Assassin’s Quest by Robin Hobb
โ˜€๏ธŽ In the Labyrinth of Drakes by Marie Brennan
โ˜€๏ธŽ Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes

โ˜€๏ธŽ Paladin’s Hope by T. Kingfisher
When the Tides Held the Moon by Venessa Vida Kelley
Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield
Pet by Akwaeke Emezi
The Survivors by Jane Harper

What books are you planning or hoping to read this summer? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR?

  1. An intriguing list, Dini. I enjoyed The Survivors. I should check out the Sara Beth Durst series. I think I would enjoy it. I like cozy fantasies and all the covers are so appealing. Enjoy whichever books you read over the summer.

  2. I love that we have nearly half of these in common due to buddy reads ๐Ÿ˜‚ who are you reading The Shadow Of The Gods with? I’m guessing Paladin is with Leslie as I think I saw that you read the first of those together. Tbh I should try to get to the John Gwynne series soon so I’ve read something by them before their new release. I also want to get to the Paladin series soonish but have a couple of other Kingfisher titles to check out first. Love the water theme going on with a few of the others. This looks like a great TBR and I hope you enjoy them all ๐Ÿฅฐ
