Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp [325]

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’m currently in between books as I finished one yesterday arvo and haven’t read anything since as I’ve been gaming. 😬 It’s a toss up between these books at the minute. One of them is for a blog tour in two weeks, so maybe I should read that first? But the others are for challenges I need to complete this month so it’s a bit of a toss up! Not really sure what I’m feeling.

What book do you have in bed with you this Sunday?

It was another uneventful week. It was quiet at home as my parents went to Bali for the week, it was busy at work as usual, and by the time Thursday rolled around I couldn’t have been more ready for the weekend, lol. Now I’m sad the weekend has come and gone. 🥲 As mentioned in my last Sunday post, I had to sort out my passport on Friday, which I did and now I don’t have to worry about it for the next ten years. 🎉 I know passport photos are always horrible, but my gosh, my new photo makes me think my old one wasn’t bad at all! This new one looks like the soul has left my eyes and now I have to face it for the next decade, haha. What a treat! 🤭

I’m still playing Disney Dreamlight Valley. I wound up buying… All of the downloadable content the other day when I saw one of them was on sale, and there was special edition price for another. So it seems I won’t be stopping anytime soon, which might impact my reading progress, but I’m enjoying gaming a lot!

ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

my immortal – evanescence

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

  1. Another throwback song. Takes me back! The only book in your possibilities I read was The Correspondent which I loved. I think all government ID pictures are horrible. We are not allowed to smile in ours, so it really looks like a mug shot.

  2. Thanks for the reminder, I have to get my passport renewed in the next couple of months or I won’t be able to get to Cancun in November with my sister. I know my picture will be awful, but that’s the way it is, I guess. I hate that they won’t let you smile. The only book in your group of possibilities that I’ve read is The Correspondant and I enjoyed it. I hope you love whichever one you decide on. Have a wonderful upcoming week, Dini.

  3. I didn’t get a lie in yesterday but today was a lovely bonus day off, and started with a giant mug of tea and the first 70-odd pages of Sebastien de Castell’s Our Lady of Blades. So far really good!

My condolences on the passport photo!

I still haven’t read The Ministry of Time so I can’t wait to hear (or should I say read lol) your thoughts on it! 😊
