I’m spending my Sunday night reading A Taste of Gold and Iron. I’ve been meaning to pick this up for ages and I came across it in my Kindle TBR the other day so I decided to give it a go. I found the world confusing initially but I’m getting into it now at 19%!

TBH, I might just end my night finishing Poison in their Hearts, which is my buddy read with Julie & Leslie. I need to know what happens! 🫣

The last week was quiet at the office as people are going on leave and meetings are starting to slow down. This coming week is going to be a bit busier and I’m not looking forward to it but hopefully, it passes quickly. Considering how quickly time has been flying, I don’t doubt that it will. It’s already December 1st! Where did the time go?! 🫣 Not much else to say about happenings in life. I’ve been playing an unhealthy amount of Zelda TOTK this past week. I’m trying to 100% my save which means finding all 1,000 koroks and other things. I’m at 86% now and have found ~700 of these cuties. 🤣 It’s certainly been a time… Lol

My brain still keeps tricking me into believing that I’ve been reading a lot more than usual. I haven’t. 🫣 I’ve come to accept that my year-end reading is never going to be the same as new-year reading and that’s fine. I just hope that I can continue to find fantastic reads including some 5-star reads to wrap up the reading year well!

    • I adore BOTW and I hope you have a fabulous time playing it! I was actually thinking about starting yet another save of it the other day because it’s been so long since I last played and I miss it terribly. This TOTK save is about 86% complete. I’ve done all the main storylines I just want to complete everything, haha. Happy gaming! 😍

      • I haven’t played a Legend of Zelda game since the DS days actually so I’m quite excited – BOTW seems like one most people enjoyed so it should be fun! The upgrade from the DS graphics is crazy (but also kinda sad, I do miss the old graphics a bit lol)
        The side plots are so fun in these games – hope you complete them all!!

        • I have to be honest, BOTW was my first Zelda game and I fell in love almost immediately. The graphics are incredible and the open world really spoiled me! 🤭 I’m looking forward to eventually playing the earlier Zelda games though because they’re so well loved and I feel like I can’t call myself a true Zelda fan without playing them so I know there’s lots to look forward to! 😃 I hope you love BOTW despite how different it is from the old graphics!

    • I haven’t played Stardew yet! I always think about starting but then I get intimidated but I’m also not ready for another game to take over my life 🤣 (not just yet)! I can’t wait to 100% TOTK and then I’ll probably go back to playing Cult of the Lamb. Still need to finish that! Happy gaming 🎉

    • I wasn’t sure about it at first. The world building + writing really threw me off at first but I started getting really into it about 11-15% and now 50% through I’m absolutely loving it. The characters and the banter are so good! 🥹
