Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp [245]

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today!

I’m spending my Sunday night in bed reading Flawless by Elsie Silver. When I started I didn’t realise I’d already read it (I thought it was the second book in the series) but I’ve been meaning to finish the series so maybe I’ll do that this time!

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

It’s been a fast-paced work week and it’ll only get busier in the lead-up to a big high-level event that we’re part of at the beginning of September. I’m super nervous about it because it’ll be attended by so many high-level people, including the President of Indonesia, and I’ll be representing my office alongside my head of office and a team lead. I’m so bad at networking and speaking publicly, even one-on-one, and I’m jelly-legged thinking about it. Welp, I hope it goes well! 😂

In other news, I’ve been playing a lot of ACNH post-work and I’ve finally started decorating my island after hemming & hawing about details. I’m still missing so many of the items I want but I like how certain parts are turning out, at least.

Alien romances have seen me through the last week and it’s not that they’re my favourites but at least I’m reading something. I do want to read but I’m still struggling to find a book that’s light enough that my brain doesn’t want to wander off after 5-seconds of reading. 😂 I’m also still making progress with The Book That Wouldn’t Burn but I reckon it’ll take me a month to finish it (if not longer, lol).

ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

guess – charli xcx ft. billie eilish
(i’m low-key obsessed with this song and how it pumps energy, lol)

I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! 💜

  1. I’m sure this time you’ll finish the Chestnut Spring series.

Omg, what an event! I’d be too nervous to function, but you being invited there means you’re doing amazing with your work, so focus on that and congrats!

I hope you have a great week!
