I’m spending my Sunday in bed with The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I can’t believe I’m finally reading this book and yeah, it’s proving to have high potential to emotionally devastate me. I can feel it… 😮‍💨 I’m reading it with Chris & Julie and I’ve been spamming them with thoughts, theories and emotions, haha (sorry y’all)!

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

I’ve woken up every day this week with a new TTPD song playing in my head. It’s safe to say that the more I listen to this double album, the more I love it. I’m at peak obsession listening to all 31 tracks! 🤭

I’m happy to say that this week was mildly better than the last. I managed to deal with my anxiety a bit better but I also kind of checked out a bit at work (while still managing to complete all my work) and it helped! I also did some retail therapy which kinda helped too, haha. I bought really cute Star Wars, Moomin, Kuromi and Totoro shirts and two adorable mugs. This is the mushroom one and I think it’s just too freaking cute! 😍

  1. I’m glad your dealing with anxiety better this week, Dini! It’s a lot of ups and downs with me too on that front — some days I feel excited to be out and about, but other days I just feel so anxious and have no choice but to keep to myself. 🥲 Can’t wait for your thoughts on Addie LaRue! I still haven’t decided if it’s something I want to read myself.

    • Thanks, Aimee! That’s certainly how life goes with all the ups and downs but sometimes I wished the ups would stay for longer, lol. I hope that you’ve had a good, if not great, week and that the week ahead is also great! I’m almost done with Addie now and I might be biased since I’m a huge Schwab fan but this book… It is perfect for melancholy souls. It’s so achingly sad but beautifully written so I think if you’re in the mood for a read like that, I would give this a go. I hope I can write a half-decent review when I finish it, haha 😂

    • Thanks, Tasya! Retail therapy definitely helps with soothing although it doesn’t help my bank! 😂 I’m very happy with this mug purchase though and have been using it every day since. I hope you’re doing well and have a great week ahead!

  4. I’m glad this week was a little better for you hopefully that will mean next week will be even better. I’m still listening the TTPD as well but I liked 14 of the songs and those are the ones I have on repeat. I do get the urge every once in a while to listen to all 31 songs though.

    • Thanks, Misty! I was mostly listening to the first 15 TTPD tracks until I watched an album reaction video for the second half and the love steadily grew from there. Now I’m telling myself to slow down on listening to them *all the time* cos I’m gonna burn out my love for them faster, haha. I hope you have a great week ahead!
