I’ll be spending my Sunday night in bed with The First Binding by R.R. Virdi and I have a feeling that it’s going to feature in more than a few April posts. I’m buddy reading this with Leslie and I’m admittedly struggling to get into it!
It’s not only dense but I’m quite confused cos the world-building has been minimal 20 chapters in but seeing as how there are 97 chapters, maybe I can be more patient…? 😬 I’m determined to make a big chunk of progress in the coming week though!

Another week has come and gone and I don’t have much to update at all. My sister returned to Japan on Tuesday, still feeling a bit poorly but much better and okay to fly. It’s back to a quiet empty house with just me and my pets and while it’s nice to be able to do whatever I want again, I do miss having company should I choose to seek it.
I’ve been in a nostalgic mood this week and started watching Ghibli movies a lot but I’ve also started Delicious in Dungeon on Netflix and it’s so odd but I surprisingly like it! 😂
It’s once again been a rather slow reading week. I finally made a new post on IG the other day but I’m still so rarely on there that sometimes I still wonder why I try to post, lol. 😂 Let’s see if I can revive a posting streak on IG again! It was a slow reading week and with my mood the way it currently is, I’m expecting it to stay slow but that’s OK!

I hate when everyone leaves. I am a lot like you. I might stay in my room all the time, but I like the option to talk to someone when I feel like it. I hope this week is a great one!

I feel like things tend to slow down around this time of the year… And then it’ll continue steadily until July/August-ish and then it’ll pick up until the end of the year, lol. I should be ready for this by now 😂 Hope you’re having a good week so far!

You reminded me so much of my middle child. He prefers to hang in his room, but I know he loves to have me and his sister around to be able to come share things with when he’s in the mood.

SAME. It’s also been so nice out and when Spring happens we spend way more time outside. Sooo that doesn’t help my slumpy mood.
