We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today!
It’s another Sunday where I don’t have a book on the go. I’ve got a buddy read I’m starting tomorrow so if I do pick something up today it’ll be a quick one. I’m looking at these options:

What are you currently reading?

I can’t believe it’s already the end of November. I want this month to never end because deadlines are quickly approaching and I don’t feel ready but also, I just want to get 2023 over with so badly. 🥲 It was a pretty low-key week compared to last week.
I started playing a new game, Fae Farm, and I’ve been obsessed. It’s a cosy farming game that’s a mix of Story of Seasons and Stardew Valley. There’s farming, relationships to form with townsfolk (including fae!) and also mining, battling, dungeons and quests. You can actually play with friends online but I have none (lol) so there’s always lots to do and time moves much too quickly in the game! So far, it’s definitely worth the money though.
I also started and finished a new anime called Blue Eye Samurai and it was so freaking good! It’s an Edo-period story of bloody ruthless revenge and it’s definitely Adult. It took a couple episodes for me to feel fully committed but then I ended up watching the whole season on Saturday. Netflix better not cancel this show!

I find I’m still in a wishy-washy mood when it comes to reading just because I’ve been feeling all over the place these days. As always, romance has been kind to me and I just finished a great romance this morning. It’s been a slow engagement week as well but I’m not surprised at all.
ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:
- #FirstLinesFriday: 24 November 2023
- Mini Book Review: Stolen in Her Wedding Gown by Amanda Cinelli
- #WWWWednesday: 22 November 2023
- #TopTenTuesday: Reasons I’m Thankful for Books
- Mini Book Review: Her Big City Neighbor by Jackie Lau

it’s not too early to start spinning Christmas tracks, right?
I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! 💜

Romance is my go-to when I am struggling. The only thing better is a holiday romance. That game sounds great – fae, farming – good stuff. Hope this week is a good one for you.

Ooh, I don’t know why I didn’t even think about picking up a holiday romance. That’s a great idea 😃 Thanks, Sam! I hope you have a great week as well 💜

Hehe, I’m honestly kinda surprised that I haven’t been doing the same since it’s usually when they come on immediately 😂 But I think it’s now time to bring out the Jack Skellington Santa earrings and play all the Xmas tunes 😍
