I’m wrapping up my Sunday in bed with The Roses of May. This is a thriller I’ve been meaning to continue for ages after discovering the first book quite by accident several years ago. My current mood is screaming romance but this thriller somehow seems to be working for me and I’m hooked!
What are you currently reading?
I went a bit MIA on the blog this week because my brother got married! Compared to how it would’ve been had it been hosted in Bali, it was a smaller ceremony, mostly with extended family, because it was held on a weekday and most people were working. The preparation for the wedding was a bit rushed but overall, the ceremony went well and I officially have a new sister!
Other than that, work has been really stressful and I dread each day that passes by too quickly. I’ve started looking for a new job again but it’s hard and that also takes up more energy than I have to spare. I’m revisiting Zelda TOTK, watching more fantasy adventure anime, and rewatching my favourite Christmas cartoons like Klaus! 😍
I’ve been slow on reading this past week cos I’ve been feeling stressed and anxious with work. My mood has definitely been geared towards romance and I’m not mad about that at all. I’m kinda sad that this year is already almost over and I feel like, while I did have some great reads, nothing really wowed me like it did in the past couple of years. I’m hoping maybe December will change that? 🤞🏽

Thanks, Deanna! It was a beautiful ceremony 🙂 The first book is definitely quite dark and this one has its moments but I don’t think it has been as dark as the first (I mean, even if it is about serial killers 😂)!

I love Klaus, it’s definitely a christmas favorite! Oof, the end of the year is definitely a busy and rushed season, I hope you take care of yourself well and hopefully won’t be too overwhelmed!
