I’m in a funky headspace which means my reading mood is being funky too. I’m finding that I need something short and fast-paced to read otherwise my attention will waver (which is how I’m feeling about The Neighbor Favor right now). So I’m looking at these books to potentially start tonight:

We’ll Never Have Paris by Adriana Anders, To Her Rescue by Dria Andersen, That Time I Got Drunk and Saved A Demon by Kimberly Lemming

What are you currently reading?

This week was rough healthwise. My lungs have been acting up (thanks, bronchi) and I’ve been nebulising twice daily for the past five days. Jakarta’s air quality is truly the worst and I’m so thankful that I have less than a week to go until I leave for Bali for my “treat yourself, besties” holiday! ☀️ I’ll be landing on Thursday, my besties are arriving on Saturday & Sunday, and then it’s gonna be a week of being lazy tourists and doing absolutely nothing productive. I can’t wait! 😍

I spent a chunk of this afternoon writing reviews and clearing up my “currently reading” list on Goodreads. Talk about feeling productive! I had also planned to schedule some posts not just for the coming week but the upcoming holiday week because I probably won’t be online at all then. This hasn’t exactly gone to plan but I might try to work on a few before evening falls. Let’s see!

  1. I hope you are breathing better. That’s not a good situation. My cousin just flew a billion hours to Bali. I am loving all the pictures. So beautiful! Hope I get to see pictures of you there. I know what you mean about quicker paced books. Here’s hoping one of those do the trick for you

  3. I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well. Hopefully Bali and friend time will help. I’ll be interested in hearing what you think of We’ll Never Have Paris. That title intrigues me. I love Pentatonix, especially their older stuff. This mix was a lot of fun.

    • Thanks, Deanna. I think getting out of this super polluted city will do me a lot of good! 😍 I can’t wait. I’ve been seeing teases of random bits of We’ll Never Have Paris on romance twt and it got me intrigued—it wasn’t even on my radar before then! Will probably pick it up soon(ish). I really loved this Pentatonix mix. I wish they would do covers of each song in here cos they sound amazing! Have a great week ahead!
