Progress: 65% → Love & Resistance is an interesting YA contemporary about a secret group of misfits that aim to take down the popular bullies and disrupt the hierarchy in their school. It’s been pretty entertaining so far and I love the comparison of high school “politics” to dictatorial governments, lol. 😅

What are you currently reading?

This was a pretty quiet week. It was Indonesia’s 75th Independence Day on Thursday so we had the day off and my parents left for Bali on that day. I’ll be joining them next week for an extended weekend as my aunt and cousin are visiting from the US! Otherwise, things have been business as usual with work and reading and gaming. I started a new game on Switch called Spiritfarer, which is basically a cosy management game about dying. Sounds morbid and it is sad but it’s also very cute, soothing, and fun. I think it’s a fairly popular cosy game but if you’re like me and haven’t played it yet, I would definitely recommend it! 💜

Since last week, the Fated Mates podcast has literally wrecked my TBR. 😂 I keep listening to the hosts talk about all the romance books and tropes and I guess I’m easily sold cos my TBR has grown exponentially! Welp. I’ve picked up a few of their recommendations already but haven’t yet found any above 3 or 3.5 stars; which isn’t necessarily a bad thing because I have a feeling the ones I’ll enjoy the most are still to come! At least, I hope so. 🤭
