We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Non-book Freebie (choose your own topic that’s not related to books! This could be hobbies, TV shows/movies, bands/singers, food items/recipes, top ten things about you, your top ten favorite things, places you’ve visited, favorite fashion designers, etc. Take this time to let your readers get to know you a little!)
This week’s topic is a fun non-bookish freebie! Much like everyone else I interact with on the book blogosphere through my book blog, pretty much everything we talk about is book related, so I found this topic quite fun to do. I think I might’ve done something like this before but I can’t recall… That said, I decided to do a topic that I know I haven’t done before and that’s 10 no-skip music albums I love featuring a fair bit of Taylor Swift. Her lyricism gets to me in a way that few artists do and I STAN her tunes! 😍
But I digress. TS definitely dominates this list but much like my reading taste is eclectic, my music taste is too and this is only an infinitesimal sample of what’s on my playlist! I’m not really picky and I’ll listen to pretty much anything I find appealing to my ears. On that note, here are ten no-skip albums I can listen to on repeat and still not get sick of + three favourite tracks and one or two bonuses from each! Oh, and I might count the three TS albums as one… So I can add more awesome albums, lol (if you haven’t noticed, choosing favourites isn’t something I’m great at)! 😃

Do you like any of these artists or albums? What music do you listen to and what’s one of your favourite albums? I’m always up for learning about new(old) music!

Taylor Swift! I love it! Or I should say her. I’m really loving To All of the Girls You’ve Loved Before lately.

I’m OBSESSED with that song although it does make me a little sad knowing that they’ve broken up now. I also found out about it very late 😂 But still, such an amazing song and hits me in all my feels! 😍

I’m sad about that too, but who knows what happened.

My favourite song on folklore was “The Last Great American Dynasty.” Such a great story there!

Her pen game is incredible. I always love how each song came alive as a story (at least for me). I love that song too 😍

I’m actually surprised that I recognize most of these. LOL I mean, at least I know of the artists. Although Sabrina Carpenter, Raye, and Kings of Leon are all new to me.

Sabrina Carpenter is so slept on. This album is incredible 😍 This is RAYE’s debut album and so far, it’s winning album of the year for me!

Great list! I really only listen to music in the car, but my taste at the moment is pretty much TS and musicals lol

TS and musicals forever!! 😍 Haha

Yay, I did music too!!! Chris asked me, is it all just harry styles?!? HAHA. I made myself do 10 different ones because if I did any repeats then it would all be Harry. You know, I never really listened to Taylor, besides what’s on the radio. I was trying to resist but she stood up for Harry when he was boo-ed for winning album of the year. So, I might have to give in!! LOL. We share Halsey! 🙂

HAHA, I’m surprised that there wasn’t more Harry Styles on your list?! 😂 I loved your picks though and we definitely have very similar music taste. Lyrically, Taylor’s songs just hit so hard for me—I’m obsessed!!!

Right?! I could have done one on just his songs and would have struggled. LOL. My best friend from high school is obsessed with Taylor. I’ve been around a lot of Taylor’s music through her!

Folklore and Evermore are definitely such amazing no-skip albums ❤ And I also adore Hamilton and Manic!

Manic is so good! I love Halsey’s music and once I get into the Hamilton zone I can listen to that album repeatedly without a break! 😂

Look at you with the show tunes. Those are the only ones I really know.

Hehe, I love Hamilton and RENT so much! Even though it’s been years since I’ve watched or listened to the album, I still know all the lyrics to the RENT songs. I love it 😍

You and my dad can do Rent sing-a-longs (Rent is one of my plays for this season. We will be seeing it soon)

Omg, I’m so jealous! It’s on my bucket list. I’d absolutely love to see it one day (same with Hamilton, too)! 😍

It’s only 30 mins to Broadway for me, so I have been spoiled with all the shows I have access to.

Hahaha, if it isn’t obvious from this post, I don’t know how to make it more clear 😂

I’ve listened to none of these. 😂 Although I’m not big on music and if I listen to anything its usually lo-fi, 50’s music, or going back to my teen years and listening to all my emo music. 😅

I *love* lo-fi and throwing it back to my emo days (although for me it was when I was in uni)! 😂 The throwback tunes are definitely great and have so many amazing memories attached to them, haha. The 50s were great and I do love quite a few songs from that era but I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a full album from any artist!

lo-fi is great for reading and gaming! It’s just a whole vibe. 😍

I love Taylor Swift, but I think my no-skip album from her is 1989 and Reputation 😀 As for others, it’s Face the Sun (Seventeen), Planet Her (Doja Cat), Sebuah Nama Sebuah Cerita (Peterpan/Noah), Love Is Dead (Chvrches), Starboy (The Weeknd), and Chase Atlantic (Chase Atlantic) 😀

Y’know, I’ve been meaning to listen to more Indonesian music/artists but I have no idea where to start. The only artist that I’m really familiar with (and by that I mean I know 3 songs by them, lol) is Tulus and I love his voice! 😂 I’ll have to check out Peterpan! 1989 is also a no-skip album for me but I’m still not fully jiving with all the Reputation songs, maybe because they were so overplayed? I think my vibe with TS goes from Red to 1989 onward, haha. Thanks for the recs, Tasya! 💜

Reputation was a hard one to get into, but once I watch her Netflix documentary they become my favorites! There’s just something about her energy on stage and the way she sung her songs that makes me really enjoyed it! 😀 Oh and I do hope you’re checking Peterpan out, they’re legendary!

I only listen to music in the car, and I usually listen to country, but I do enjoy Taylor Swift. Kings of Leon is also a great choice, Dini.

I actually do enjoy country music as well although it’s a genre that I haven’t thoroughly explored. I guess I enjoy more of the “pop country” tunes if that even makes sense 😂

Yes it does, Dini. I am not an old country fan, I also like the more upbeat pop style.

Love a bit of Hamilton, always listening to that one! I used to listen to the instrumental versions when I was writing essays for Uni as I liked background noise whilst I worked, but the lyrics were just a tad too distracting. I also love Taylor Swift, I do love folklore, evermore and Lover, but her two no skip albums for me are Fearless and Speak Now. We do have a couple of the same fave songs from Lover though, I also love Cornelia Street and Daylight.

Yeah, I can relate to the lyrics being distracting! I usually listen to music with lyrics when I’m doing things like gaming or cleaning or well, basically a lot of anything else that doesn’t require my full attention otherwise I can’t focus and end up wanting to sing, haha! 😂 Cornelia Street and Daylight are such great tracks and always give me warm fuzzy feels. 💜

You know from my TTT post this week that I’m a Sabrina Carpenter fan! (Feather is my current favorite, but it changes weekly, lol). I’m a new T-Swift fan, so I still have a lot of her music to listen to 😅
