#WWWWednesday: 1 March 2023

Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:

  1. What did you read last?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What will you read next?

Since last week I’ve managed to finish two books. I’m still not reading very much and I contribute that to my overstimulated and stressed-out brain but also to the fact that gaming seems to be what’s working for me right now!

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries (Emily Wilde #1) by Heather Fawcett ★★★★½
This was just as wonderful, heartwarming, cosy and charming as everyone said it would be! I surprisingly don’t read a lot of books about faeries (I think, lol) but this is undoubtedly a new favourite story about them. It was so different from what I expected but I really loved it and I’m glad I took my time reading it. However, I really didn’t like that abrupt ending! 😂

Caged in Winter (Reluctant Hearts #1) by Brighton Walsh ★★½
I’m very sad to say that this did not work for me and I’m sorely disappointed! I started out rooting for these two but by the end, I was just frustrated with the lack of openness and communication and I wasn’t sold on their romance.

I’ve got two reads on at the minute:

  • Tessa Ever After by Brighton Walsh → 75% → I’m so happy to say that I’m enjoying this one so much more than the first in this series. I love this brother’s best friend/friends-to-lovers romance/single parent romance! They’re just so cute together.
  • (ARC) Reggie and Delilah’s Year of Falling by Elise Bryant → 50% → I haven’t picked this back up again but I need to!

The magic of ✨mood reading✨ means it could be any of these.

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! 😍

  1. Yay for finishing two books! And I’m so glad you liked Emily Wilde, though I agree the ending is a bit abrupt. Hopefully the next book in the series is just as good. If you want a sway towards one of the books you might read next, Enchantment of Ravens is quite short! And so sweet. Happy reading!

  4. I was also taking my time reading Emily Wilde’s because it kind of forces you to just slow down and read but I took so long my borrowing time was up LOL…so I have to re-borrow the book (it’s an ebook). I was enjoying it though so I hope I can get it back soon. Happy reading Dini!
