So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is about Books I Read On Vacation (bonus points if you tell us where you were!)
(Submitted by Dedra @ A Book Wanderer)
I’m going to keep this really simple for myself and look at my ten favourite reads from when I was on “vacation” in India a couple of months ago. I say “vacation” because it was a very extended break and it was a semi-vacation but y’know, we’re keeping things simple. 😉 I didn’t manage to read half as much as I thought I would in the three months I lived there but I did enjoy some great reads! So without further ado, here are ten reads I loved and read while on my vacation in India:

[book covers are linked to my reviews, if available]

The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh
Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
The Drowned Woods by Emily Lloyd-Jones
A Lady’s Guide to Fortune-Hunting by Sophie Irwin
Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen
Seatmate by Cara Bastone
The Devil You Know by Elizabeth O’Roark
Take the Lead by Jaqueline Snowe
Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender

Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR? Do you read specific kinds of books while you’re on vacation? What’ve been some of your vacation reads?

I’ve been meaning to read Belladonna and The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea because they both seem so amazing??! Unfortunately i’ve been completely ignoring my TBR, but hopefully I’ll get to them soon! Loved this!! ❤

As a mood reader, I can relate to ignoring my TBR and it’s also the reason why I don’t have them anymore! 😂 I hope you enjoy both books though because they really are fantastic and maybe two of my favourites of the year?! Happy reading! 😍

Sounds like you did some great reading while in India! I never do as much reading as I think I will on vacation, either, but I always bring books with me. I wouldn’t want to be caught without something to read, you know?
Happy TTT!

It was a bit of an extended holiday (3 months) so I thought I’d get more reading in but I’m more than okay with quality over quantity! 😃 I also always bring too many physical books with me, on top of having my Kindle too, cos it’s always nice to have options as a mood reader! 😂 So I totally get where you’re coming from!

It was a great time and although I didn’t read as much as I thought I would on this extended holiday, I do think I got in some great titles 😃

I just read Seatmate the other day. It was cute. Those two were adorable and their conversations kept making me think of Gilmore Girls. Something about their exchanges.

I haven’t ever watched Gilmore Girls but… That’s great to hear! I really loved their banter and the audiobook narrators sold it so well for me. Made me really fall in love with both of these characters 💜

You are one of the first posts I see who kept with the original topic. Well done.
My TTT this week is all about travel books.

Ooh, really? That’s actually surprising! I haven’t had the chance to hop around much this past week yet so I haven’t seen what others have posted yet. Thanks for stopping by though, Marianne! 😊

But of course. Always a pleasure.
I think a lot of people had a problem with this topic because we haven’t been on holidays since Covid kept us from doing so.
