Since last week, I managed to finish THREE books.

Omega Morales & the Legend of La Lechuza by Laekan Zea Kemp โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…
There was nothing I didn’t love about this MG debut. It had all the spooky vibes perfect for this season and Omega, Carlitos and Clau are a fantastic trio! I hope we get more magical adventures with them! ๐Ÿ’œ [CHECK OUT MY REVIEW]

Well, That Was Unexpected by Jesse Q. Sutanto โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜†
This YA rom-com had all the Indonesian representation and it made my heart so happy. It’s essentially a love letter to Indonesia and it came through with every word Sutanto wrote!

Consider Me (Playing for Keeps #1) by Becka Mack โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…ยฝ
I honestly can’t remember how I came across this one (probs romance twitter) but it was an overall fun-time read! I almost DNF’d it at the start because the MMC is a lot but I’m glad I kept reading. The humour was a little OTT but I had a grin on my face all the way through. The romance was delightfully angsty, the chemistry was off-the-charts, and it was a good deal steamy but was well-balanced with many sweet + swoony moments!

I’m currently reading three booksโ€”one ARC and two buddy reads.

  • Off the Ice by Jaqueline Snowe โ†’ 18% โ†’ I’ll probably finish this ARC by tonight!
  • Babel by R.F. Kuang โ†’ 5% โ†’ BR with a group of bloggers โ†’ I’ll focus on it fully once I’ve finished the ARC.
  • Wolfsong by TJ Klune โ†’ 42% โ†’ BR with Leslie & Destiny โ†’ haven’t picked it up again for two weeks… Oops!

  3. Omega Morales looks sooo cute!! Glad you enjoyed it! Soooo excited for Babel. I’m at about 20% now and loving it! I am going to blog a bit more and then go and pick it back up. I’m hoping to catch up for the week before Ollie wakes but we will see. I am annotating it now and it’s going to take so many tabs. haha

    • It’s so good! I would definitely recommend it, Leslie! ๐Ÿ˜ I’m loving Babel too although I’m getting scared about what’s going to happen next cos shit is getting real, lol. I’m using so many tabs as well that I have a feeling I’m going to end up having to mix different kinds of tabs to keep up cos otherwise I’ll run out and I ordered mine from overseas! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I’m so glad we’re loving it so much though ๐Ÿ’œ
