#TopTenTuesday: 10 Books I HAD to Add to My Personal Library

So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Books I Loved So Much I Had to Get a Copy for My Personal Library (Maybe you received an ARC or borrowed from a friend/the library and loved it so much you wanted your own! Or maybe you read it in one format and wanted another format, like you read it in ebook and wanted a physical copy to display on your shelves or you read it the paperback and would love to re-read it on audio. Change this TTT title to fit your post best!) (Submitted by Alecia @ The Staircase Reader)

There’s nothing better than reading a book, whether it’s an ARC or borrowed copy, and falling so deeply in love with it that I just need to have another copy of it in my personal library. For this week’s prompt I decided to keep the focus on ARCs I’ve read and loved so much that I immediately went out to buy a copy. I’m going back starting from the most recent and there are definitely more but I especially loved these ones! 😍

Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen
The Devil You Know by Elizabeth O’Roark
Everything for You by Chloe Liese
Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree

The Hand of the Sun King by J.T. Greathouse
The Goddess of Nothing at All by Cat Rector
Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim
The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He
The Invincible Summer of Juniper Jones by Daven McQueen

Do you often read ARCs or borrowed copies and loved them so much that you immediately want to add them to your personal library?

    • YES! I love Legends and Lattes so much. It’s just the perfect cosy comfort read. I don’t re-read a lot but that is one I definitely would if ever I’m feeling a little down or need a bit o’ comfort. 💜 I hope you enjoy it, Lindsey!

    • LOL, honestly, you’re not alone in that, Julie. I think I need to buy new shelves as well—ones that are either taller or wider because I’ve already run out of space in mine and it’s DOUBLE stacked 😂 Woops… Haha

    • I think that’s totally okay! I think if I ever got physical ARCs then I probably wouldn’t buy finished copies as often unless it was like a new forever favourite. Sadly, I’ve never received a physical ARC so finished copies it is for me! 😂

  1. Awesome list! I’ve never bought a book that I ended up loving (at least that I can remember), but I can totally understand why you bought the books mentioned here. Especially Six Crimson Cranes and Violet Made of Thorns, the latter which I’m currently reading and absolutely loving!

    • Ooh, do you have the Owlcrate edition? That one is really pretty 😍 I might have to pop on their site and see if they still have copies of it going (probably not though, lol)! I hope you love it, Ali!

  2. I am forever buying books after checking them out from the library – I like being able to look at the books I love on my shelves, and have the option to pick them up and re-read them (or sections) as and when I please
