So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Hilarious Book Titles.
As you can see from my post title, I’m modifying the prompt a bit today because, for the life of me, I can’t think of hilarious book titles! I even looked up cosy mystery titles cos I do love a punny title but nothing was really striking the right note for me. So, I decided to look at the books I’ve read and share the last ten reads that made me laugh out loud. To be fair though I love to laugh and I’m easily amused so it doesn’t really take much for me to be entertained whether it’s witty writing, hilarious dialogue, or silly shenanigans.

(ARC)Royally Not Ready by Meghan Quinn – Honestly, MQ never fails to make me laugh!
(Audiobook)Seatmates by Cara Bastone – The banter was perfection!
The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun – Dev and Charlie were hilarious in their own unassuming ways. I especially loved Charlie!
A Governess Should Never Tempt A Prizefighter by Emily Windsor – Fantastic witty writing!
A Little Bit Country by Brian D. Kennedy – I loved being in Emmet’s head—he’s a hilarious teen!

To Sir, With Love by Lauren Layne – This had my cheeks grinning for how much it made me happy! I loved the wit, banter, charm—everything!
Everything for You by Chloe Liese – I mean, it’s the Bergman Brothers… Not once has any book in this series failed to make me laugh. It’s just too good!
Fake It Till You Bake It by Jamie Wesley – The back and forth between Jada and Donovan was *chefs kiss!* They were just too cute/sweet for words.
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers – I loved being in Monk’s head and their reaction to a certain hot dad? Too funny. Also, I loved Robot so much!
The Worst Guy by Kate Canterbary – They hated each other and it was honestly hilarious! Ugh, I love Stremmel and Sara so so so much!

Are you easily amused when reading books? Do you often find yourself amused or laughing out loud while reading? I’d love to know what books made you laugh!

Cozies have the punniest titles, but I hardly read them. Not surprised to see Quinn on this list. Her books never fail to make me laugh. My absolute go-to when I need some cheer.

Yes! MQ never fails to make me laugh and I always have such a great time reading her books. She definitely knows how to put the comedy in romcoms! 😉

I enjoyed the Monk and Robot book, too. I like this idea for a book list (a bit of a tweak to the prompt).

I need to read PSalm. I feel like I’m so behind on her stuff. I think I have the last novel and the two Monk and Robot yet.

Yes, you do! It’s such a great short read. I guess you can say I’m quite behind on her stuff too (even more so than you) cos I still haven’t read her main series! 😂 I can’t wait to read it though!

I also enjoy a good chuckle when I read, but it isn’t usually from a book that is promoted as hilarious. Those never are. I appreciate clever, quiet humor instead.

I don’t really read funny books, but I do appreciate humorous scenes, witty banter, and comic relief characters in otherwise serious stories. They provide a nice counterpoint. I haven’t read any of these books, but I’m glad they made you LOL. We all need more laughter in our lives, I think 🙂
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
