Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?
Since last week I’ve managed to finish four books.
(ARC) It’s All In How You Fall by Sarah Henning ★★★★☆ (rounded up)
This was a really cute summery sports-heavy YA contemporary with a super sweet romance and all the feel-good vibes! Check out my review
(KU) A Governess Should Never… Deny A Duke (The Governess Chronicles #2) by Emily Windsor ★★★★☆
Isabelle and Rhys have such great tension and I loved the mystery of their characters. The Welsh castle setting on the cliffs by the sea was gothic in its atmosphere and the secondary characters were such a fun and entertaining addition to the story. Isabelle and Rhys were both romantics at heart and oof, they had some heartpounding swoontastic moments!
Seatmate (Love Lines #3) by Cara Bastone ★★★★★
I’m obsessed. If all audiobooks were this good (for me personally) I would gobble them up. This was an adorable romance and damn you, Cara Bastone, how the hell am I ever gonna find a Sam IRL? I loved Sam The chemistry, THE BANTER, everything about these two was perfection! If you can’t tell, I highly recommend this audiobook!
(ARC) Violet Made of Thorns (Violet Made of Thorns #1) by Gina Chen ★★★★☆
Wow, talk about a fast-paced, intriguing and sharply written fantasy! I really enjoyed Violet Made of Thorns and devoured it faster than even I anticipated. Violet was a great morally grey MC but even the secondary characters were intriguing! Plus, the romance? Talk about true enemies-to-lovers! Were they gonna kiss or kill each other? Who knew and I WAS HOOKED. I thought the ending was rushed but inevitable and I kinda need the next book now please?!
I picked up Fake Empire by C.W. Farnsworth earlier today and since it was a rare day where I had quite a lot of reading time, I’ve sped through and am now at 65%? I love a good marriage-of-convenience romance and the angst in this has been on point! I love Scarlett and Crew 😍 They’re such alpha boss characters but I love how soft they can be together. Melting!
What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! 😍
