#WWWWednesday: 22 June 2022

Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:

  1. What did you read last?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What will you read next?

Since last week I’ve managed to finish three books. Compared to last week’s low-rated reads, this week’s reads have been winners! Elizabeth O’Roark is slaying me with her angsty romance chemistry and I’m 100% here for it. 🥹

(KU) The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (Devil #2) by Elizabeth O’Roark ★★★★½ (rounded up)
There was little that I didn’t love about Drew and Josh! I love myself a simp hero and Josh is definitely a favourite contender. This ‘Devil’ series is making me reconsider my stance on angsty romances because these books deliver such fantastic angst and I love it so much?

Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender
I’m actually buddy reading this with Leslie but I accidentally ended up reading it in one day? 😬 I’ll share my rating later but I’d defo rec it! Long story short: I loved it. It’s messy, realistic and written with so much heart! I cried (lol).

(ARC) The Devil You Know (Devil #3) by Elizabeth O’Roark ★★★★½ (rounded up)
UGH 😭 Ben and Gemma’s romance still has me swimming in my forking feels. THE ANGST SENT ME and I—? It’s a close call but this is probably my fave in the series so far. So many feels. So realistic. So much SWOON. It’s just so so so good. *clenches fist in angsty feels* 🥺

I’m very much still feeling in that romance reading mood and so I finally picked up The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun. I’m only 12% in but I have a feeling I’m gonna love these two sweet beans? They’re (already) so adorable! 🥹

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! 😍

  1. Great hearing about your recent reads! I’ve been meaning to pick up Felix Ever After, it looks like such a fantastic YA contemporary! & cannot wait to check out your thoughts on Nura, I’ve been trying to read more middle grade recently, will have to add this one to my list. Happy Wednesday to you ❤

    • I’m so glad that I finally picked Felix up because it’s so good and it’s so worth the hype (IMHO)! I hope you enjoy it if you pick it up 😃 I’m really looking forward to trying Nura. I do enjoy a good MG read but its been a while since I’ve read one so I’m hoping it’ll be good! I hope you’re having a great reading week!
