#WWWWednesday: 06 April 2022

Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:

  1. What did you read last?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What will you read next?

Since last week I’ve managed to read five books. March has ended on a high note and I’m hoping that means that April’s gonna be a great month for reading!

Kiss and Don’t Tell (The Vancouver Agitators #1) by Meghan Quinn ★★★★½
I don’t know what took me so long to read this one but I’m glad that I finally did because this was so good and this series is looking like it’s gonna be a favourite of mine! The banter, the chemistry, THE STEAM! 🥵 Wowow, so freaking good!

(ARC) Those Three Little Words (The Vancouver Agitators #2) by Meghan Quinn ★★★★½
This was slightly angstier than the first book but no less delicious when it came to everything I love in a romance. I wasn’t wrong when I said this series is becoming a favourite… I already can’t wait for the next one. This book is out now (and on KU btw) and my review will go up on Friday! 😉

(ARC) This Rebel Heart by Katherine Locke ★★★★½
This historical fiction set in post-WWII Communist Hungary features a good dose of magical realism and revolution. It was a fantastic read and I’m so glad it got put on my radar! Check out my review

The Forever Night Stand (Malibu Millionaires #1) by Katie Golding ★★★½
This was my first book by Katie Golding and it was a fun, quick and steamy read—and the perfect palate cleanser between books! I’m looking forward to the second book coming out in May cos it sounds like steamy rivals-to-lovers perfection! 😍

(ARC) Heartbreak Symphony by Laekan Zea Kemp ★★★★½
This was everything and nothing like I expected. It was wildly emotional and sent me on a wild rollercoaster ride just like I expected but this was also so much more than the synopsis and the cover make it out to be, and it was a powerful surprise. My review and journal spread goes up tomorrow!

It’s another Wednesday where I’m not actually reading anything! I flew into Bali today and instead of reading when we arrived, I decided to take the afternoon to game instead! 😂 I think I think I might pick up Fake it Till You Bake It by Jamie Wesley cos I feel like a romance before diving into my next ARC!

Almost all of these are ARCs so they’re gonna get read at some point in the next week(ish)!

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! 😍

    • I saw your review for It Happened One Summer and it sounded like a fun read even if not a fave! Fake It Till You Bake It is a bit of a slow start so far but it’s really stirring up a craving for cupcakes! 😂

  1. I’m a bit wobbly about my current read too, even though it’s quite good. But I have so many arcs to read and I’m afraid I won’t be able to finish and review them all and I requested too many and who, what, where, HELP! 😂

Good luck with your arcs, I hope you like them! 🙂
