Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ve hit a bit of a reading bump this week and that’s mostly cos my focus has been on gaming, but I’ve also had quite a bit of trouble focusing lately! I’ve got two blog tours coming up though so I’m spending my Sunday night in bed with Creation by Bjørn Larssen. This is a novella that puts a humorous spin on Norse mythology (y’know, the beginning of it all) and I’m hoping it’ll be a fun and fast read!

In the beginning there was confusion.

Ever woken up being a God, but not knowing how to God properly? Your brothers keep creating mosquitoes and celery and other, more threatening weapons. What can your ultimate answer be – the one that will make you THE All-Father and them, at best, the All-Those-Uncles-We-All-Have-But-Don’t-Talk-About?

“FML! The answer’s why I drink!” – Odin

Perfect for fans of Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Thomas Hobbes of Malmesbury, and Mrs Brown’s Boys.

What are you currently reading?

So… This tweet that I posted a few days ago pretty much sums up my whole week! 😅

To say that BOTW has taken over my life would be… accurate. I get up wanting to play the game and I go to sleep at even stupider o’clock most nights because I’ve stopped taking my melatonin so I can keep playing. Hmm, yeah, we might have a problem! 😂 I’m going to try slowing down this week and pace myself better (i.e. save the majority of the gaming for the weekend) so that I’ll feel a little bit more productive outside of the game (lol)!

I’ve been struggling over the last two weeks with focusing on my reads and as a result, most of what I’m reading has left me feeling a little underwhelmed and meh. 😕 I wouldn’t exactly say that I’m feeling slump-ish but the books I’ve been trying to read lately just haven’t kept my attention and it honestly makes me a little sad. I hope I can shake this weird mood soon!

Did I mention that I’ve been doing little outside of gaming this week? 😂 But here are the posts that I did manage to make this week, ICYMI:

    • This game is definitely a new favourite. Since there’s a whole world to explore and you can really explore every nook and cranny, it’s ENDLESS (and amazing but also terrible for having a life lol)! Thanks, Tessa ❤️

  1. Haha, I understand the gaming life. I usually try to still go to bed at a decent time but my husband makes it difficult on weekends. 😂😂

  2. It’s hard to maintain a steady sleep schedule when you’re having so much fun gaming. I usually stay away from gaming during college tough times (which is almost all the time at this point of the year) because I know I won’t get enough sleep. It’s hard to stop gaming when you’re loving a game!
