I’ve spent very little of this Sunday with a book but I plan to finish the day off finishing Bad Habits. This is for a blog tour next week and I picked it up in between my romance binges last week, so I’m taking my time with it but I’m really enjoying it so far. While our MC, Alex, can be a bit much at times, I’ve laughed several times cos of her snarky and sassy voice and it’s honesty such a good time. The story is definitely as loud (and fun) as this cover makes it out to be! 😉

What are you currently reading?

This weekend was epically lazy but I also managed to get a few things done. I shaved my head again yesterday and ugh, it feels so good to have no hair? 🤣 My head feels so light! I also decided to do some baking on Friday and I’m not bragging… but these cookies ended up tasting so freaking good! They’re rich and soft and chewy and I can’t stop eating them?! 🤤

On Saturday night I had a call with two of my besties that lasted for close to six hours. It was our first time trying the House Party app and it was seriously amazing! I’m probably really behind on the times with this app but the games they have that you can play together are so great! We ended up playing a pictionary-esque game for 2+ hours and laughed so much that it hurt. 😂 I didn’t realise I needed this friend-therapy but it did wonders for me!

Other than that, I actually ended up playing a lot of Animal Crossing this weekend and randomly did up some areas around including a clay-making station, a (still unfinished) dog park, a cafe and a new cliff/waterfall area. I’m throwing in a bonus pic of Kidd reading a book sitting pond side cos the cuteness is real! 😍 I’m feeling more satisfied with how my island looks now and I’m getting that much closer to completing it!

I’ve been in quite the romance mood lately and I’ve basically been finishing an NA Romance series that I randomly came across last week. I’m tempted to start on the spin-off series based in the same university but I am starting my buddy read with Leslie tomorrow for The Switch, so I might save it for after that. I’m really excited for the buddy read because I loved O’Leary’s debut and I’ve heard great things about her sophomore novel, too! I’ve really slacked with blog hopping and even posting this week as I’ve been in a bit of a funk and I’ve had no energy to do anything but crawl into bed at the end of the day. Hopefully next week will be better on this front!

TRACK HIGHLIGHT

This weekend I discovered Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour album and how did I not know of any of these songs before?! I’d heard of Kacey before but I’ve only listened to one of her Christmas tracks and her recent collabo with Troye Sivan & Mark Ronson. This album though? Every single track is… amazing? I’ve been really obsessed with two songs in particular but slightly more with the track below!
