#5OnMyTBR: LGBTQ+ Authors

Hello Mondays, welcome back to #5OnMyTBR, a meme created by the wonderful E @ The Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. This bookish meme gets us to dig even further into our TBRs by simply posting about five books on our TBR! You can learn more about it here or in the post announcing it. You can find the full list of prompts (past and future) at the end of this post!

This week’s prompt is: LGBTQ+ Authors ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

While this week’s topic is about LGBTQ+ authors, I’ll be focusing on the book by them that I’d like to read. All of these are on my physical/digital shelves and I thought I’d be prioritising them in June but because June is basically over and it was a hot mess for me, so… That said I’d really like to read these books before the end of 2020 so hopefully that at least will happen! Some of these I’ve shared in very recent posts this month but I’m super excited for them so I’m going to keep shoving them in your face LOL Since time is short today and I’m exhausted AF (and I don’t know how to plan posts ahead of time) I’m gonna dive right in:

*book covers linked to Goodreads pages and synopses*

Bonus book because I’m extra and I really want to read this ASAP!

I’d really love to hear any recommendations you might have for this topic down in the comments below! Have you read any of these?

  1. AAAAHHHHH. Okay, Clap When You Land and Felix Ever After are 5-star reads for me! Just plain perfection, these two! I also just finished Cemetery Boys a few hours ago and it was SO DAMN GOOD. It did not disappoint! And your bonus book, The House in the Cerulean Sea, oh boy, this one is one of the best books I’ve read ever! It’s just too precious and too wholesome. I’m so excited for you! 😂

  2. I so want to read Clap When You Land! I’ve heard nothing but good things and I’m desperate to get my hands on it Also I’m unbelievably excited for Cemetery Boys:)
