We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time curled up reading in bed with or which book you wish you had time to read today!

Progress: 65% → Love & Resistance is an interesting YA contemporary about a secret group of misfits that aim to take down the popular bullies and disrupt the hierarchy in their school. It’s been pretty entertaining so far and I love the comparison of high school “politics” to dictatorial governments, lol. 😅
Happy Friday book lovers! We’re back with another First Lines Friday, a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines? Here are the rules:

This week’s topic is actually: Characters from Different Books Who Should Team Up (or date, be friends with, etc.) (Submitted by Cathy @ WhatCathyReadNext) BUT as you can tell by the title of this post, I’m going rogue!
Hi, friends! Today I’m doing The Firsts of 2023 Book Tag that I first saw on Celeste @A Literary Escape‘s blog last week. I’ve been on the hunt for a simple and easy tag to do ever since I started blogging again so when I saw this one I immediately jumped on it.
This book tag was originally created by Tanya @girlxoxo.
Without further ado, let’s get to it…

I’m still reading A Conjuring of Light and omg, ALL THE THINGS ARE HAPPENING! The last few chapters were brutal and heartbreaking. I’m scared to continue!

“Stay calm. It’ll all be fine.
If there was one place Maggie Le did not want to be, it was pushing a wobbly shopping cart through the narrow aisles of Tasty Great, the primary supermarket in the town of Fool’s Falls, eastern Washington State, population five thousand.“
