We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books On My Winter 2023-2024 To-Read List.
We’re halfway through December and I’m so “behind” on my reading due to work that it’s been a bit of a bummer for me. Today wrapped up the final event under my management though so I’m hopeful my reading can pick up again! With all the brain-heavy things I’ve had to deal with this year, my mood has mostly been for lighter reads, romances, and easy (for me)-to-read fantasy (mostly YA). I think that trend shows in this month’s possibility pile too. I want to read a lot more books by BIPOC with BIPOC for the 23for23 reading challenge—the only reading challenge that I may actually see through to the end, lol. As always, it’s a possibility pile because as a mood reader, I’m terrible with TBRs. Let’s see what I end up reading this month! 😂

Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan
Wrapped Up in You by Talia Hibbert
A Festive Feud by Maren Moore
Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manansala
The Duke Who Didn’t by Courtney Milan

The Office Guest by Whitney G.
After Hours on Milagro Street by Angelina M. Lopez
Song of Silver, Flame Like Night by Amélie Wen Zhao
Woke Up Like This by Amy Lea

Have you read any of these books? Do you think there’s still a chance for any of your upcoming reads to be new all-time favourites? I hope you enjoy your December reads!

I like the Tita Rosie Mysteries, I think Murder and Mamon might be my next audiobook listen.

Ooh, I hope you enjoy it! Did you try the audiobook for Arsenic and Adobo? If you did, would you recommend it ?

Yes! I’ve listened to the whole series on audiobook, the narrator gives Lila loads of personality.

Every time I see the title, I WOKE UP LIKE THIS, I laugh. I have a mug for coffee which basically says the same thing. Ha!

Sometimes we need easy and not brain consuming books. I’ve been avoiding some of those becase my head wasn’t there. I hope you’ll enjoy these and that work will be a bit easier for the rest of the month.

Arsenic and Adobo sounds so good 🥹 I’m in from that title alone lol. If it’s a great mystery, even better

I saw a lot of great reviews for the Lea book. I have been considering it because time loops have been very good to me lately. Good luck with all your goals and may you find lots of gems.

Don’t you hate it when real life gets in the way of your reading? It’s such a bummer! I’m glad things are slowing down for you so you’ll have some time to relax with a good book. I hope you enjoy all these.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
