We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll be spending some part of my Sunday night in bed reading The Unbroken by C. L. Clark. This is my next buddy read with Becky and it’s been an interesting beginning so far! I think I had very different thoughts on the writing style, so I’m happy to say that it’s pretty easily readable. I’m very curious to see how the story evolves!
What book do you have in bed with you this Sunday?

I’ve been pretty boring as usual and haven’t been got up to much this week aside from work a few hours, game a lot, watch some One Piece, and read just a tiny bit. I went out on Tuesday to grab a book I’d ordered and have some pho. I was feeling under the weather since last Friday so that warming soup (despite the heat) was so needed.

Disney Dreamlight Valley still has the majority hold over my life at the moment. 😂 I’ve completed all quests and stories, but now I’ve been focusing on doing bits of (re)decoration to enhance my in-game productivity. This included finally setting up my storage island. Thanks to a guide developed by a streamer, I was able to sort my storage in 2 days! I just need to finish decorating the area now. It’ll be a bookish inspired space and while I love that, I’m not entirely sure if I still love the entire look where I set it up. Let’s see how it goes over the next couple of days.

I’ve found my curiosity for classics kind of being rekindled lately—that said, so far I’ve only added the books to my shelf and not yet read them. The latest addition was The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. I was intrigued to read it after watching (part) of The Book Club discussion on YouTube that made it sound so interesting. I didn’t watch the full thing cos I didn’t want spoilers, but I am excited to read it (hopefully soon)!

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

I love soup. It’s good for the soul, and that spread looks yummy. I read a lot of classics in my youth. More power to you branching out. Hope you enjoy it!

Whenever someone says soup is good for the soul I always think of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books 🤭 So nostalgic! I defo read a lot more classics when I was younger too (due to school) but I’ve found myself becoming more interested again now. Might be due to the news of more adaptations lately!

I remember speed-reading ‘The Woman in White’ at uni – I think I quite liked it, though I would’ve liked it more if I had more time to read it properly haha
Hope you’ll enjoy it when you get round to reading it!

Omg, that is so amazing! I’m more than a little jelly. 🤭 Her latest album might by AOTY for me or at least in the Top 2! She’s so so talented and I love listening to her speak about her songs and her journey. I hope you all have a super fun time, Julie! 😍
